A list of puns related to "Sunday school"
One of the students asked, "Which lesson manual will we be learning from?"
To which I responded, "EMMANUEL, amrite?"

Sunday School!
A man walks into the pharmacy with his 8-year old son.
They happen to walk by the condom display, and the boy asks, "What are these, Dad?"
To which the man matter-of-factly replies, "Those are called Condoms son. Men use them to have safe sex."
"Oh I see," replied the boy pensively. "Yes, I've heard of that in health class at school."
He looks over the display and picks up a package of 3 and asks, "Why are there 3 in this package?"
The dad replies, "Those are for high school boys, one For Friday, one for Saturday, and one for Sunday."
"Cool" says the boy. He notices a 6 pack and asks, "Then who are these for?"
"Those are for college men," the dad answers, "two For Friday, two for Saturday, and two for Sunday."
"WOW!" exclaimed the boy, "then who uses THESE?" he asks, picking up a 12 pack. With a sigh and a tear in his eye, the dad replies.
"Those are for married men, son. One for January, one for February, one for March..."
As a kid I loved to get the sunday comics from the paper and read Calvin and Hobbes. I loved it so much my parents would get me the compilation books as gifts for birthdays and christmas. I always thought it was funny when Calvin would ask his dad how "x" works. One day my son when he was about 6 years old asked my why some TV shows were in black and white. Inspired by this calvin and hobbes comic where Calvin's dad explains why photos are black and white. http://picayune.uclick.com/comics/ch/1993/ch930919.gif
I decided to do the same thing to my kid. I told him that the world was black and white back then and that things didn't start to become in color for decades later. I got a good chuckle out of it, but because he was so young, I didn't realize that he actually believed it. I soon forgot that I told him the world was black and white. When he was about 11 or 12, one day I got a call from my wife and she asked me, "Did you tell your son that the world used to be black and white?" I start laughing immediately and said yes! How did you know? She said because your son is writing an essay about how the world used to be black and white for school and he asked me what year the world became color. He believed that for like 6 years!
Sally was at Sunday school, when she fell asleep. The teacher realizes this and says, βSally who is the creator of life?β Her friend, Colin, who sat behind her. Poked her with a needle to wake her up. She wakes with a jump and yells, βGOD ALMIGHTYβ The teacher responds, βVery good Sally.β Soon later, Sally falls back asleep. The teacher, again notices and says to her, βSally who is our savior?β Colin again, pokes her with a needle. Sally jumps up and yells, βJESUS CHRIST!β The teacher responds, βVery good.β For a third time Sally falls asleep. The teacher, having enough of it, asked, βSally, what did Eve say to Adam after they had their 17th child?.β Colin again, pokes Sally with a needle to wake her up. She jumps up and yells, βI SWEAR TO GOD, if you shove that thing in me one more time, Iβm going to rip it from you, and shove up your throat!β
He was looking in a pond for fishes and found one, but the poor guy was all alone! So my fiancΓ© said, "hey little fishy why are you by yourself?" And I said, "well, there's no school on Sundays"
He just stared at me and shook his head :)
He always complains when they don't know the difference between jimmies and sprinkles. But I can't blame him he did do extensive ice cream research in Sunday School.
Years ago I used to use a LexisNexis database of companies that would give corporate information like name, address, and general business description. While most of them were pretty bland, there were a bunch of them with some really cheesy puns, and over a few years I built quite a collection.
Today I share with you "NEXIS IS RIDICULOUS.txt":
Yesterday I was at a Thai Buddhist temple in my city. The secondary meditation instructor was just chatting with the group a bit before things began. He was explaining to me that on Sundays the temple has language classes. Someone else asked if he spoke Thai, he then explained to us that he didn't complete all the courses and considers himself.......A Thai School Drop out.
I laughed so much harder than I should have at this, mainly because I had been trying to think of some dadjokes earlier that day. Universe provided.
I met this kid from the neighborhood who has started school this week.
me. "So you started in first grade this monday?"
kid "yeah"
me. "So do you go to school everyday now?"
kid, a bit hesitating "well not on saturdays and sundays..."
