I have lost 1/3 or even half of my hair. Dont know why and when it started.

I did experience hair loss before when i was on diet. But my hair came back 1 yr after go back to normal diet.

1. I’ve been on accutane on apr 2020 and stopped on Aug 2021 ( when I noticed my hair is thinning) dont know if this is the reason why.

2. Sebderm? I have oily skin so does my scalp. I will have red spots, not sure if it is pimples, on my head sometimes and it will be itchy. I need to wash my hair everyday. *all symptoms gone during accutane. Been using Selenium disulfide shampoo every other day to stop the itchiness. But it doesn’t help

3. Went to do ultrasound and confirmed i have pcos. Dr said it is so mild and dont recommend medication. I didn’t do blood test. I have period every month, slim and 2-3 pimple before period. So no serious symptoms on me except hair thinning.

So any thoughts. About to see another dermatologist tomorrow for a second opinion. Wish me luck.

Usually shed 30-40 hairs during shower. Maybe 50 hairs in total daily. I wash hair everyday. Is it normal or not.

Just like in the title, I know I have dandruff on my head and I don't want my relatives at parties and ceremonies focusing on how should I get rid of it instead of the main content. No, I don't want your home remedies and special shampoos. My dandruff condition is different from others as it is not in the hair, it is attached to the skin which can only be cured with a special treatment and my family can't afford it right now nor do I have to resources to do it myself.

I suffered from sebderm for about one year. Because of it I had massive hair loss, itchy scalp that was destroying my sleep and gigantic skin flakes peeling off. I tried many shampoos (with: ketoconazole, climbazole, clotrimazole, piroctone olamine, ciclopiroxolamine, selenium disulfide, zinc pyrithione) and topical corticosteroids (mometasone, betamethasone, prednisolone) but none of them worked for me. Also I had oral isotretinoin but had to stop taking it because of severe muscle pain, which prevented me from normal functioning. But now I've found something that works for me, however I think there are many factors involved.

Three months ago I found in my country herbal shampoo with birch tar (based on infusions from herbs: rosmarinus officinalis among others) without any synthetic additives and started using it everyday. Simultaneously I started taking daily:

•B vitamins: B1 – 3 mg; B2 – 3 mg; B5 – 25 mg; B6 – 4 mg; B7 – 5 mg

•D vitamin – 1000-2000 IU

•green tea (matcha – 2-3 g), ceylon cinnamon (1.5 g), omega-3 (0.5 g), magnolia honokiol-rich extract 200 mg, ksm-66 ashwagandha – 600 mg (anti-inflammatory components)

•magnesium – 250-375 mg; zinc – 15 mg; copper – 2 mg every 3 days

•tricreatine malate – 3300 mg (probably no impact)

•antidepressants (definitely reduced my stress levels and made better sleep)

•additionally I started heavy resistance training every two days: in training days before training I take 1500 mg of L-carnitine L-tartrate (there is some research that L-carnitine could stimulate hair growth in vitro: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17927577/ and decrease hair loss in people with androgenic alopecia: https://www.scirp.org/journal/paperinformation.aspx?paperid=96669, so theoretically this may also contribute to better hair health)

My diet is rather healthy, based on complex carbohydrates with a lot of proteins from plants, dairy and meat. Dietary fat below 60-70 g per day. After one month all of this, I've noticed big improvements in context of my skin flaking, itching, and losing hair.

Month ago I had to change shampoo and I did it to another herbal one, similar but without birch tar (my Derm noticed some pimples that arose on my scalp because of it and fortunately it resolved after stop of using the one with birch tar). The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
