A list of puns related to "Mutual organization"
Basically title. I looked for a food not bombs chapter but all the information online seems severely outdated. Ideally I'm looking for something anti-capitalist/anti-hierarchical but information on any community organizing/support groups would be greatly appreciated.
Is anyone aware of mutual aid groups or community based programs in Athens? Iβm new and I would like to volunteer and help people on the periphery of social programs. Iβm looking for a group that is LGBTQ friendly and anti-racist. I looked at Athens County Child Services but their online reviews worried me. If anyone has experience with them, then I would love to hear about it too. Thank you!
The creation of the Salonika Pact has increased global tensions and solidified a Soviet sphere of influence and control Stretching from Moscow to Mukden, with its observers adding to its global reach. This leaves us, the freedom loving nations who have not yet succumbed to Communist tyranny no other option but to solidify and build upon the foundations already created with CAN. The US Department of State therefore has invited friendly nations to sign a proposed treaty and join a new organization; the Mutual Security Organization (MSO). The MSO will have two main components;
Council on Mutual Security
The Council on Mutual Security will be the political body and the highest decision-making authority of the organization. Chaired by a Secretary General, the CMS will have permanent representatives from each nation, as well as an annual meeting of CMS Foreign Ministers.
MSO Military Committee The MSO Military Committee will advise the CMS on all military affairs, prepare operational plans for the event of war, and define overall military strategy and posturing to reflect the agreed-upon collective policy. The MSOMC will have a chair serving a three-year term rotating from each of the member nations. The MSOMC will have an annual Defense Chiefs meeting, but also regular meetings attended by permanent military representatives from each member nation.
Membership
Three tiers of membership will be created. Full members, associate members, and observers. Full members Full members will be entitled to all the protections of the MSO Treaty, particularly clauses surrounding mutual defense and collective self-defense, with an attack on a full member constituting an attack on all other full members. The nations invited for full membership will be;
Belgium
Denmark
Canada
Greece
Turkey
Iceland
Italy
Luxembourg
Netherlands
Norway
Portugal
Spain
United Kingdom
United States
Associate members
Associate members will have been allowed to send representatives to all meetings, but will have no voting powers. They will be eligible for qualified mutual defense; an attack on such a member nation will be considered to activate the mutual defense clause if a majority of the CMSβ member nations vote to authorize such a categorization. The associate members will include;
Brazil
Thailand
Dravidia
Australia

Things suck and the only way things can even get better is if we help ourselves. There are plenty of outreach, mutual aid and direct action programs that can use help
They need everything, skill donations, phone banking, canvasing, admin work and much more. Organize around political candidates you believe in, donate time to food banks or even contact the IWW and start organizing your workplace!
For those who have, share your methods and helpful links and for those who haven't, whats stoping you?
I have the opportunity to be involved in creating some peer mental health resources but I don't really know anything about doing so. I'd especially appreciate anything explaining the philosophy of mutual aid in regards to mental health.
Does anyone know of any mutual aid groups in MD? I want to do something to help others instead of sitting around doing nothing.
Hey y'all,
As someone who does not have a very positive view on what the future holds for society, I have recently been looking in to possibly joining a mutual aid organization in my state of Connecticut. A quick search however, shows me there's next to nothing, especially in my area (BPT/NH area of Fairfield County). Posting here to see if 1) anyone knows of anything in my area that I haven't found and 2) if anyone lives in the area and would be interested in forming a mutual aid organization. I have about 0 experience with this stuff, but with climate disaster already here, there is still time to learn and get that experience!
How much I am wrong ?
i wanna get more involved in my community and i couldnt find any organizations that exist in brampton. thanks in advance!
Hey all, I'm new to San Diego and am curious if there are any mutual aid organizations to be a part of. I'd love to help out, especially downtown. If anyone has any information or connections, please let me know!
Hey so for the first time in my life I have enough money to take care of myself and a tiny bit extra but Iβm so accustomed to being dirt poor that I decided to use my small surplus to start a mutual aid organization. I know there are some good orgs in Omaha and Lincoln but as I live in GI there really arenβt many options out this way. So basically to start out Iβm just gonna do things like deliver groceries to elderly folks, collect and distribute food, give rides to people who need them, just generally helpful stuff. Itβs called Nebraska Workers United and Iβd appreciate a follow on FB or Twitter if you have the time.
Also as a fundraiser here soon an artist has come up with a very cool design for T-Shirts, Posters, Stickers, etc that are shaping up to be very cool and all the money will be thrown directly into the mutual aid fund. Speaking of funds, complete transparency and democratic control is the name of the game when it comes to any money we raise.
If youβre interested in helping out or if you or anyone you know needs a leg up right now please contact me!
Please follow on Twitter @nebraskaworkers Or FB page: Nebraska Workers United
Hopefully this plug is allowed.

I'm not trying to imply that one movement/cause is stronger than the other, but upon researching mutual aid groups that I could potentially volunteer for, I realized how many types there were (food delivery, mental health, violence prevention, etc)
I'm still a student who will be a college freshman in the fall, I am wondering what the best organizations are to work for and which areas will give me the most experience/have the most impact. (I'm also from NYC)
Over the weekend, CTS enjoyed assisting with mutual aid donation drive at Luther Place DC; Luther Place sheltered BLM protesters during summer 2020.
The Eurasian Mutual Security and Cooperation Organization; if everyone joins anyway
Following recent events that have demonstrated that the world is a much more dangerous place than we had previously thought, China has decided to take the lead on the construction of a new international organization; designed to do for Eurasia what NATO and the EU has done for Europe; and promote peace and prosperity throughout the globe. This new organization shall be called the Eurasian Mutual Security and Cooperation Organization; and will supersede both the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Eurasia--both of which new members of EMSCO must withdraw from before entering EMSCO.
Nations invited to become founding members, observers, and global partners are the following:
MEMBERS:
OBSERVERS:
GLOBAL PARTNERS:
>Charter of the Eurasian Mutual Security and Cooperation Organization
>
>The states parties to the Treaty on Mutual Security and Economic Cooperation (hereinafter-- βthe treatyβ), which establishes the Eurasian Mutual Security and Cooperation Organization [hereinafter--βthe organizationβ],
>
>Acting in strict accordance with their obligations under the Charter of the United Nations and the decisions of the United Nations Security Council, and guided by the universally recognized principles of international law,
>
>Seeking to establish favourable and stable conditions for the full development of the States Parties to the Treaty and to ensure their economic development, security, sovereignty and territorial integrity,
>
>Determined further to develop and intensify their military and political cooperation inthe interests of ensuring and strengthening nationa
This list of Texas mutual aid organizations was posted during tonight's national People's Party call.
I live in a fairly rural area -- people live far apart, the nearest town is fairly small (~5,000 population) and I don't live near it.
I worry about how vulnerable the people here are to the virus & related effects on infrastructure, availability, etc. My hope is to find ways to slowly grow an interconnected community of mutual aid to foster positive community relations, so that if worst comes to worst, people are more likely to fall towards helping each other vs. more violent and less productive, panicked alternatives.
Does anyone have any advice about organizing in rural communities? especially ones that tend to be far to the right in ideology, either consciously or subconsciously?
I want to join a mutual aid organization that has an emphasis on socialism. Are there any national organizations that are like that?
