Let me start this by saying: I love the art of this manhwa like everyone else. It seems the artist poured their soul into this.

Looking at my post history on this subreddit, you may notice that I tend to always criticise stories instead of taking it as it is and adoring them.

Whether it is for the good or I'm just expecting way too much out of these stories, I wouldn't know.

I don't even know how to put my frustration with the manhwa into words, so I'm going to quote another reader on bato.to, specifically on chapter 4.

"Lol this is sooo dumb. Every single thing she does everyone is already mesmerized/shocked/intimidated.

She isn't smiling so oh wow she looks so calculative and intimidating, she isn't dressing pretty so she is all the more beautiful 😔. Is so sudden, and she DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING, besides this face 😏.

Get out of here lmao.

It seems like the author is trying to create a cunning character like, say, Medea from [your throne] for example, but they just fail mesurably.

I was a bit hopeful when the supporting characters all started noticing the change of MC's personality and attitude. But nooooo, 2 chapters later they just accept whatever she does and trust her immediately, just because she changed!

I tried to look all over the sub to see if anyone else thinks so, so that's why I'm posting this here.

Let’s start with the basics and go over all the moves they have.

They can do some melee slashes.

Sometimes they will do two slashes instead of one.

They can roar and trap you on some strings and attack you immediately after.

They can also spin around like a fuckin’ helicopter.

They can also do a ranged attack depending on what weapon they carry.

Finally, and most dangerously, they can jump on you and repeatedly slash you, which can actually trigger a fatality animation if you die from it.

First of all, there are three different weapons that a Marionette could possibly be equipped with: throwing knives, curved blades, and a shotgun.  Both Marionettes equipped with throwing knives and those equipped with curved blades have the exact same melee attack properties.  The swings are slow when not in Devil Trigger, but are much faster when in Devil Trigger (just as fast as a Bloody Mari’s regular speed with or without Devil Trigger).  Also they both jump on you without a warning and slash the crap out of you if you stand close to them for long enough.  When they do this, either wiggle your control stick wildly or activate DT to escape quickly.  You still do take at least one hit so make sure you don’t let them do this shit.  When you are in DT, however, you are completely immune to this attack.  Now, Marionettes equipped with a shotgun are much easier to deal with at melee range.  They only have one thing they can do at close range and that is try to slap you REALLY slowly.  This attack doesn’t speed up in DT.  Also this move is incredibly easy to dodge.  Just as long as you’re not on the ground you pretty much won’t get hit.

Now at range is when you can really notice the difference between all three weapon varieties.  The Marionettes equipped with throwing knives will spin their weapons around for a good amount of time and the speed is not too fast, but it has a very long range no matter how far you are and it has very good vertical tracking, meaning you will most likely be hit if you jump towards or away from them, so your only options are to dodge sideways or to use invincibility frames with strict timing.  However, for some reason, if you are close to them when they do this attack, their attack always misses even if you don’t move.

The Marionettes equipped with curved blades will spin their weapons for the shortest amount of time before they throw, so you have very little warning.  This makes this attack extremely dangerous if you are close to them w

I heard the novel ended in chapter 166+extra chapters... Is this matching the manhwa chapter by chapter or 3 chapters from the novel takes 1 chapter from the manhwa... also how many chapters do you guys think the manhwa will take to the end ?

I don't believe I've seen anyone mention this yet, but what's with Marionette (Pinocchio EGO) having the T-Corp logo displaying? Is there some context I'm missing? Is Pinocchio related to T-Corp?

I found out about the song weeks prior because of the controversy, and because I didn’t want to watch the MV, I just downloaded the song and played it. I loved it at first listen, especially because of Sweetune’s production.

Around this week, I had the balls to watch the MV. IT WAS THAT BAD. Never have I felt so uncomfortable watching an MV. Half of the time, I was just covering the screen with my hand (probably because I don’t like looking at women being sexualized, and I’m a guy). What made it even worse was that the entertainment company pressured these poor girls to do this kind of stuff, as revealed by Gayoung.

I had a dream last night that my mother had a new child (v impossible) and called her marionette. And its been haunting me all day .

Because I heard that it's name is mechionette similar to marionette. Or it could be a coincidence

So I chose to trust the Seer (Edmund) in chapter 1 but in chapter 3 and so forth, my MC is alive and is trying to find out who stabbed her with the help of Edmund, so I'm wondering what happens if we choose not to trust Edmund in chapter 1? Will chapter 2 be a different ending? The ending for chapter 2 when you choose to trust the seer, she dies and then the story becomes different when you start chapter 3 so my dumb ass is confused
