A list of puns related to "Ford Focus (second generation, Europe)"
was digging around on the focus wiki pages and found this little gem

there were only 200 of both models produced.
Maybe an electrical short? Fuse going bad?
As title states came to flex my hatch, and was floored by two pinned posts.
Iβve felt the shudder. I saw the video about the ground hack, and curious as to how many of you it helped.
Going to do it anyway, but wanted to take a poll of the people who actually did it, if it helped resolve the issue.
Iβve read several other posts, i know the consensus is to dump it, but wanted to see what yβall think.
Hey everyone. So I have an '03 Focus ZX5 2.0l DOHC that won't stay running at idle unless I have the throttle open a bit. It starts fine, runs good for about 10 seconds then starts misfiring and chugging/coughing. Then it just dies. I also noticed that the cat converter and exhaust manifold are getting really hot, to the point where they start smoking or steaming.
Here's what I've done/checked so far:
Cleaned MAF sensor, replaced IAC valve, replaced PCV valve and and the elbow. Also replaced the PCV breather element that comes from the intake manifold (It was collapsed). I'm running out of ideas at this point. I'm going to check the TPS sensor today when I find out how to do that. Since the cat gets so hot, I'm thinking maybe the it's clogged and not letting the exhaust escape at idle or something so it dies after a bit.
Any ideas? Thanks
Edit: Just wanted to add that the only codes I have right now are P2195
Hi all. I recently purchased a 2016 Ford Focus with 36000 miles on it. It recently started doing this like stuttering thing only in second gear when accelerating. Almost like the engine is loping, but like you can feel the car jerking quickly as itβs accelerating.
Now today, along with that, it starting making a grinding noise. It only makes this grinding in second gear while accelerating. It does not do it going from 1st to 2nd. Only in 2nd gear. Sounds like someone is shacking a pile of rocks. Doesnβt do anything else for any other gears.
The car is still under factory warranty. Any input would be much appreciated.
I got the impression that most second generation immigrants i've communicated with IRL ultimately feel more connected to their ethnicity rather than the country they were born and raised in, especially if they have origins outside of Europe. Others don't feel part of either and develop an identity crisis as a result of it. How is the sentiment among Redditors with immigration backgrounds?
So I have what seems to be a car that only exists on paper.
It is a 2nd generation Ford Focus bought at the tail end of December 2010, and labeled everywhere a 2011.
But almost everyone considers the 2011 to be the third generation and googling 2011 ford focus brings up information for 3rd gen vehicles.
And googling 2010 ford focus is only marginally better.
At the moment, I am only looking for a nice diagram of what is under the hood and where.
But what the official label for what I actually own and/or what is the best way to google information about it?
Hey guys I want your opinion on the newest generation Ford Focus. I have heard horror stories about the last generation. I am in the market for a new daily and the new hatchback hits all the marks I am looking for. Should I be worried that the last generation Focus seem to turn to dust at 100k or am I just being paranoid?
