A list of puns related to "For the Love of Horror"
Arkham is so much fun, but the set up often intimades some of my less die-hard board game friends. I've read a lot about Mansions of Madness 2nd Ed. I think Mansions will solve the long set up problem, as well as not scare away the casual board gamers. But is Mansions fun? I think it looks super neat but I've also read that basically the entire game is copied on the app. Does the app take away or add to the game?Thank you for your feedback!

To keep this short and sweet, Thirteen Ghosts is highly underrated. Like i said it was one of my first loves in the horror game. Me nd my friend were talking about horror movies nd i brought this movie up, he said he's NEVER seen it. So being a good friend i let em burrow it. We both love horror movies, and i feel like this is just one of them movies that everybody's seen, weather you're a fan of horror or not. Maybe I'm just hyping it up to much. But it's been a little over a month now nd he still hasn't watched it, should i just ask for it back, nd never speak to him again ?.
H.P Lovecraft is the father of cosmic horror/ lovecraftian horror. A lot of media today is currently inching into worlds of cosmic horror under his influence. Some examples being Stranger Things, Death Stranding, Beyond the Auquila Rift, Bloodborne, Arrival, and True Detective season 1, even Aquaman. My dream would be to have a big network adapt his work into an anthology series
Similar to The Twilight Zone and the video game Until Dawn, each episode will start off with The Narrator (played by Charles Dance or someone alike). The opening setting is similar to this (https://imgur.com/gallery/C88adNP). He breaks the 4th wall by talking to the viewers directly. The Narrator comforts the viewer as he opens an ancient book and begins to tell a tale and we are sucked into the story. Through the season the setting changes and diminishes for we are starting to see the world as it really is. If adapted correctly it could be a horror so vast and incomprehensible it itches at the viewers curiosity for more. The next Game of Thrones will not be achieved if risks are not taken.
(EDIT:) I donβt care that Lovecraft was a total piece of shit. Please stop commenting about that. This post is to focus on his writing, influence, and the imagination of his world. I just want a cool cosmic horror show about that. Any insensitivity he had or you all have is irrelevant. Just respect the art. This is about cosmic horror. Not racism.
Earlier this year I launched Quietly Yours, a horror anthology podcast that tells a self-contained horror story each episode. I'm a big fan of old horror radio dramas like Lights Out, The Witch's Tale, Quiet Please (from which we took our name!) etc., and that was the kind of feeling I wanted to recreate, so most of our episodes are multi-cast productions with full sound effects and original music, etc.
We don't have a lot of content out there just yet because putting together a single episode is proving to be quite a time-intensive process, but we're hoping to consistently put out an episode roughly every two weeks starting this month.
The episodes vary quite a bit in story, from ghosts to monsters to murderers, but I try to keep a consistently tense tone across the show, with occasional dots of humour and, most importantly, I always try to include a great twist ending in the style of The Twilight Zone and similar shows.
If it sounds like something you'd enjoy, I'd love for you to check it out and let me know what you think! I'm always after feedback so I can make sure I'm heading in the right direction moving forward. The more opinions I get to hear, good or bad, the better, so don't hold back!
You can find the show on iTunes here, or on our host Podbean's site here.
Enjoy!
