A list of puns related to "Dental restoration"
Hello,
As the title says, I am in a bad way as far as my teeth go(no pain atm thankfully) and will surely need some significant implant/restoration work over the next year once all is said and done.
While I do have decent dental insurance and some money saved up for the work, I'm hoping for some recommendations of dental offices to look into so that I can stretch my money as far as possible.
I was considering Comfort Dental on North Division, but thought that maybe /r/spokane could provide some alternatives.
I recently learned that my insurance now covers the full dental restoration I need but have spent most of my life embarrassed and ashamed of the state my mouth has always been and had a really bad experience as a teen with a dentist before diagnosis and it caused me to grin and bare the pain for lack of a better term and picked pain over the shame I would feel letting someone see my mouth again.
I guess my question is, has anyone undergone full restoration and how was it? I know each persons treatment is unique to them but what was the process like? Do they remove them all at once and how was the recovery? I'm afraid of the healing process being a issue since my lip biopsy was a painful experience since it healed so slowly and caused lots of swelling for a while.
I hope this ramble makes sense and my stressed out thoughts were coherent. I'm 29 and have never had a smile I wasn't so self conscious of and paranoid about being seen.

I was in dental clinic got tooth checked. Dentist told me to fill up the tooth with GIC.I asked about the price it was Npr 1500 for a single teeth. Is this the reasonable price? What shoud I be doing shoud I be knowing the charges of other dental homes? And what about the quality of GIC ? Does it differ according to price? Can I get my tooth filled with adjusted price for the same quality? Also I have got report of that! The dentist said for GIC or composite filling.I amn confused?

The only clinic I can find that does this is a university clinic: https://www.uthscsa.edu/patient-care/dental/services/pulp-regeneration
However, it appears that it has been around for 20 years or more. The penetration of this into clinical practice seems to be very slow though as it seems like basically no one is routinely doing it.
Some studies I came across are:

Does anyone have experience with this or know of other clinics that do it? Any insights into why it is not more routinely done?
