I got chlamydia and the shame is killing me. Do I need to share to future partners that I had it?

So I (23F) got chlamydia from a guy that I really liked but it turned out he was just using me for sex and dumped me. Before I found out I actually went on to have another relationship with a guy (26M) who I passed the sti to. We broke up for other reasons, he told his best friend that I gave him chlamydia, and now I just feel like everyone is gonna know and they’re gonna look at me like a dirty cheap slut because I got chlamydia and passed it on. I just feel so much shame for ever getting chlamydia and I’m wondering if I’ll ever find anyone to love me after getting chlamydia. As men would you like to know if a girl you meet has ever had an sti? I mean I’m all treated now and I’m all clean, but just the thought that I once had an sti is just embarrassing to say the least. Has anyone here experienced persistent chlamydia?

No sexual contact from February 2020 to August 2021.

Started noticing increased vaginal discharge in August 2021 but dismissed it since I haven't had sex in over a year.

Had a new sexual partner in September 2021, so I decided to get checked just for the heck of it. After a misdiagnosis and being prescribed two rounds of metronidazole with my symptoms just getting worse, I was finally tested for STDs in November and got a positive result for chlamydia. I was prescribed doxycycline twice a day for 10 days. My current partner got tested twice, and was negative each time.

My symptoms improved a lot, but I can't shake the feeling that I wasn't really cured. There's still a little bit of weird discharge and occasional hip and lower back pain, but it's not really that painful. I've gone back for a consult three times after I finished my meds, and each time I was made to feel I'm just being paranoid and was told to just retest in March because it's too early to retest now.

I haven't had sex since my diagnosis because I'm worried I might still have chlamydia, and I'm honestly just tired of going back and forth to the doctors at this point. Plus, for some reason all the doctors I've consulted tells me it's impossible that I've had chlamydia since January 2020 even though all the evidence says otherwise. They seem more convinced that someone is cheating.

TL;DR: Doctors tell me it's impossible my chlamydia wasn't cured with meds even though I still have mild symptoms. I finished taking doxycycline November 29, what's the best way to confirm that I'm cured by now?

Proposing that Thai Spikies belong to the genus Parakermania

Tl;dr at the bottom

If I made any mistakes or you have something else to add, please let me know :)

Thailand spikies have been in the trade for quite some time now. In the beginning they were sometimes labeled as Cubaris, which is wrong for rather obvious reasons. Because of that it's usually labeled without a genus.

I am pretty sure that they are closely related to already described Parakermania species. It's possible that "Fancy Gator" also belongs to this genus, but I couldn't verify it since I don't have these and good pics are rare.

I checked all the features that are characteristic for Parakermania according to Kwon&Taiti (1993). (Side note: the genus was errected by Vandel, but he failed to give a proper genus description. However Kwon&Taiti did that, verifying it with Vandels specimens)

In the following i will go through all the characteristics. For better understanding, I will also provide a few pictures.

β€’Able to roll up into a perfect ball: They can but rarely do, unless they feel threatened. Big surprise.

β€’dorsum with distinct tubercles: Pretty obvious, that's where their name comes from

β€’epimera of pereonites and pleonites curved outwards, pereonites 2-7 with triangular epimera: also pretty obvious

https://preview.redd.it/0hcidqhchx981.jpg?width=1672&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=db9d0c8a59ea9e0c7139235a2399f8cfe77e9bfa

β€’cephalon with frontal shield slightly protruding over vertex; antenna short and stout: while the antennae are not as short and stout as in P. maculata, they are still quite short in relation to other isopods.

https://preview.redd.it/nnadol4ehx981.jpg?width=1411&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a4f519a5d659fb97e7a086d8083848fdd8050a38

β€’pereonite 1 with a small ventral lobe; pereonite 2 with a large ventral tooth: probably the most important feature, since this is often used to define a genus.

https://preview.redd.it/701oeolfhx981.jpg?width=1294&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fec4d30bf80e62914f91762fb8108b28a428002

β€’telson with quadrangular distal part: this one is a bit weirder shaped in Thai Spikies, but the general shape is very similar. Comparing the shape, one could be easily derived from the other. (Figure is P. maculata)

https://preview.redd.it/pon0147lhx981.jpg?width=594&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=658916def14df0c29c6d8f0d6e0adb3185106639

β€’Uropodal exopod short, insterted dorsally on protopod: a bit blurry, but obviously very small.

How powerful would Current Bang be if he took the Youth Serum from Dr.Genus?

The last poll I did was "How powerful is Current Bang?" and the majority of you guys agreed he's High Dragon so here's the next poll.

I actually did my research and apparently the strength standards for men ages 80-89 are 56% times lower than the ones for men ages 24-39 and 51% times lower than the ones for men ages 40-49. So that means by real world logic, if Current Bang took the Youth Serum from Dr.Genus then he'd be MORE than TWICE as powerful as he is now just in terms of raw strength, speed, durability, ect. Combine that with his Divine Mastery over Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock and you have someone who is RIDICULOUSLY overpowered.

So that means if he's a High Dragon at 81+ years old then he'd definitively be Above Dragon. But the real question is what level of Above Dragon would he be at?

I honestly think he'd be higher than Flashy Flash but lower than Orochi or Current Garou so I'm gonna say he'd be around Golden Sperm level simply in terms of Raw Strength, Speed, Durability, ect. (Meaning he'd have the power to send Darkshine flying across the battle field and knock him out). Obviously his Martial Arts would increase him to a higher level but what do you guys think?

So I received unprotected oral from a guy who seems to sleep around quite a bit and we didn’t even have the STD talk before getting intimate (bit dumb, won’t do this in the future anymore)

Afterwards I had symptoms of weird β€œcramping” in the urinary track after peeing for a few weeks after the sex, I researched a little and thought it may be chlamydia. Anyways I decided to take the chlamydia and gonorrhea home swap test and did it and both came back negative.

It’s been 2 months and so far I haven’t had symptoms of anything.

Should I get the STD blood test to test something else? What would that be?

Boyfriend (35) gave me (27) chlamydia

Hi all, first post here (on Reddit in general. disclaimer: English isn't my first language)

My boyfriend told me he tested positive for Chlamydia and, of course, so did I, when I went to get tested afterwards.

Now here's the thing. He admitted he gave and received oral with a guy.... at the end of July 2021. His positive result came from the urethral swab, which, if I understand correctly, would mean that the other guy transmitted it via the throat? How likely is this?

Also, around two weeks ago, I had a burning sensation while peeing (which at the time I thought could be a UTI). This doesn't line up, if he got infected in July.

It just doesn't make sense to me and I don't know if I can believe he's being honest with me. I'm honestly contemplating if this big enough of a reason for me to break up with him.
