A list of puns related to "Biome"
Tiaga.
I don't know what to say. So much time, so much frustration. I'm not bad at shooters, what the hell is going on here? How have some people beat this game in 10-15 hours? I just loved it too much to give up, even when the discouragement and frustration was overwhelming. The world, the atmosphere, the gameplay, the incredible sound and enemy design, the cryptic story (which amazingly I still haven't spoiled for myself!)...all those hours and deaths have led to this moment:
I was feeling good about this run (but soooo many other good runs had ended badly). I had figured out a good system of items and parasites which buffed each other with adrenaline level. I picked up a level 10 Rotgland Lobber (my favorite weapon) and had a shield for the bosses first phase. Fuck, drones, there goes my Astronaut Figurine, which means I probably don't stand a chance. But I do have 180% health, so I'm gonna push on anyway. The pain in the ass room with the giant astronauts I managed to clear without taking damage! I was pumped but had my expectations in check. Then just before the boss fight I picked up another shield. Bingo!
First phase: Lay down the shield and pump away with the Lobber. His health is dropping pretty fast. 3/4 of his health gone and the shield fades away. The last 1/4 I managed with no damage.
Second phase: The second shield goes up, his health is dropping just as fast though I do take a few hits near the end. I'm still at 3/4 health.
Third phase: Here goes. Prepare for another failure. This platforming is so damn stressful. So often I think I over or under shoot and try to adjust and I fall and just manage to catch another one. His health is going down much slower this time. I'm taking hits, too scared to dodge much on these platforms. Fuck, I can do this. The boss has 1/4 health, but so do I. Down to 10%, come on! Shit, I'm falling and can't find a platform! Keep shooting! Just a couple more hits!! Suddenly, trophy. I did it. I fucking did it!! I cry during the moving cut scene directly afterwards as all the stress and frustration of the last couple months releases.
I uninstalled this game twice, once after raging and once after accepting my inability to progress in this masterpiece of a game. Then, after reading some encouraging words online, I decided to take a different approach and just play a couple runs each day without expectations. Eventually I'd be able to do it, right? Today, at 06:10 in the morning, was the day.
YEAH!!!
Edit: thanks everyo

Feel free to explain why and share any pictures of your builds as well!
This is one of those sci fi tropes that star wars started thats one of my biggest pet peeves. THE ENTIRE PLANET IS A DESERT GUYS! Oh look, this planet over here is ALL JUNGLE. This planet is actually one big city, its ALL CITY.
Meanwhile on Earth we have every single biome.
Since absolutely nobody asked, I'm going to share my opinion on the Biomes in A20 (RIP Burnt Forest). All of my experience in A20 has been on the 10K Pregen, so this is not tailored to Navezgane. But honestly Navezgane isnt tailored to Navezgane so who cares.
First of all, here are the Biomes ranked by lootstage:
Now, the Biomes ranked by difficulty IMO:
And finally, my personal overall ranking of Biomes, with 3 unique traits of each:
So, since some biomes on Hoxxes got different versions of Exploders, it'd make sense that Bulk Detonators would also be affected somewhat. So here's a few ideas for biome-specific variants;
Underforests grow on the undersides of End Islands, with Undertrees that grow upside-down. This would obviously give the player a new (and probably awesome-looking) wood variety, but actually getting the stuff is a bit of a hassle for obvious reasons. If somehow you manage to get your hands on some Undersaplings, you'll find that they can only be planted upside down, and on end blocks such as end stone, so it's likely that these trees aren't leaving their home dimension any time soon.
Covering the "floors" of the Underforest is Ender Moss. This greenish-purple moss grows quickly and can cover all sides of a block. It also glows faintly.
Just like how the Nether has its own variant of Slime in the Magma Cube, the Underforest is the spawn location of the Floatslime. Getting this slime's drop, the Ender Ooze, isn't as hard as it may seem, because the item itself floats in midair, preventing it from falling into the void below. This Ooze can be used to craft Potions of Levitating, and probably some other stuff I can't think of just yet.
I've only just come up with this idea, so if you have anything to add, feel free!
