Well, a really long time ago I posted a thread on here about what I could possibly do with a massive roll of lifeboat material. I think it's Hypalon but not 100% sure. Either way, it's absolutely impossible to sew without an industrial strength machine, seems to resist all attempts to glue or tape it together, and... well I could probably rivet or eyelet + rope it together, but that's boring.
So I thought of an idea to create a cut-out that weaves together, and here's my first attempt! The "lid" is a bit makeshift, I could've done a much better job with that, but it seems to work. Right now I've strung it with two trouser belts but I'm going to get some proper velcro/hook and loop type straps so I can avoid my pants falling down.
