A list of puns related to "Aquatic plant"
~80% of biodiversity on earth is found in the oceans. If weβve found all these plants that make you high on land, think about how many there must be in the ocean
I understand that itβs a common worry to have snail eggs arrive in your tank following a new plant. I already have mystery snails in my tank, does βsnail freeβ mean that this plant will kill my snails? Or simply advertising that is doesnβt carry new snails along?
I need to make sure my plants are safe to be used before putting it in my community tank. What can i do to make sure it doesnt carry any diseases?
i have a 3 gallon tank, in which i would like to grow aquatic plants, without any fish or animals. i donβt have an aquarium, but the only articles i can find is including them in an aquarium. does anyone know what tools iβd need or where to start?
Been planning to get aquarium tank set up for an adult aquatic turtle.
And I think I need some plants to help with the aquarium design and care for it.
And I dont really trust Amazon for LIVE products so maybe a local pet store might provide the necessary plants that I am looking for.
So where would it be?
I got a small indoor garden thing for Christmas and I was curious if I could go any aquatic plants for my planted tank? Anyone have any experience doing this?
Far east side perferred but any east side store would be great. Thanks! π¦πΏ
Whenever I leave plants floating (stems like Anacharis), they just rise to the surface and float on their sides. How do you float plants? I'd like to leave them floating (at first, then propagate and plant them) because I have a gravel substrate (so not many nutrients there) and I feel like they'd have a better chance of surviving if they were floating.
I own two juvenile musk turtles kept in a tank but with only up to 10-15cm of water level, as per recommended for younger turtles so they can reach the surface easily. For prospective owners of the turtle species, i cannot recommend using plants at all.
I have tried using both Java fern and Frogbits. Not that its dangerous or anything, but due to the shallow tank and the active/curious nature of musk turtles, they will absolutely wreck all the plants you put in with them. Placed some frogbits- in two days i have already seen bite marks on more than a few of the plants. In less than a week, all its roots are separated (presumable bitten off) and NO frogbits survived. Next week, gave em the benefit of the doubt and planted two java ferns- in less than TWO DAYS both of them are already gone. One of my musk pushed the pump filter somehow, changed the direction of the water current and it created utter chaos. Leaves were floating everywhere. Roots were getting stuck in the fountain water filter too. Call it a rookie mistake, but for other beginners out there i hope this helps you to not make the same mistake i did.
