One of the elements of the U.K.'s 1994 Criminal Justice and Public Order Bill outlawed “gatherings around music characterized wholly or predominantly by the emission of a succession of repetitive beats.” This was seen at the time as a push against "rave" culture or "techno" music events. So far as I know, people in the U.K. still go to raves featuring EDM that falls within this definition umbrella. Was this law just not enforced? If it was, how did rave culture in the U.K. get around this law following this Act's passage in 1994?
Hi, looking for this music video, all i remember was the video had a pop art likeness to it, i cant remember the song, or any lyrics, but will know it when i hear it. Its NOT Ultra Violent Rays - "Wish" Its between 91 and 94, and was recorded onto VHS from TV (UK)

It was on my 486 PC when I was a kid. I remember thinking how stupid it was being just an application that shows an image with some brief music playing lol. Was probably midi music, as it didn't require a disc to play.
Not exactly a game, but then again, not exactly anything either? I'm not sure what the point of the software was, I guess to just kinda enthrall people with "omg wow, a photo, on a pc, and there's music too!, what a time we live in, isn't windows so great compared to dos?"
I remember a lot of the pictures having american things. I think I remember the statue of liberty being one. They probably had some pictures of flowers too. I think it was probably all just 256K images too.
Would love to know what it was so I could maybe re-visit it and just see what it really was about.
We also had some disc with that had actual videos, probably made at a similar time but unrelated, but I already know what that was "Wizardware Animation Festival CD". Here's one of the videos that was included on that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li7FNWlmE-0 . Sorta blew my mind at the time heh.
