A list of puns related to "Wolfdog"
I am aware of a "breeder" trying to sell a litter of father-daughter wolfdogs. Normally I would just block them and move on, but my wolfdog is directly tied to their program and I've directed people from his page to them for their pups. They are not disclosing the puppies are a product of inbreeding to their clients. (I had a friend pose as a potential buyer asking pointed questions)
My question is would I be in the right to post on my dogs page stating that I no longer endorse getting their puppies from this "breeder"?
My pup came from their other breeding pair. I am worried that the folks I had recommended to them would think they are getting dogs of my owns caliber rather than of the ones that are inbred.
I don't know if I were to feel comfortable doing more then blocking them and posting a disclaimer on my page.
I would like this communities opinion on the matter.
So, what counts as a real wolfdog. Do you count saarloos and vlaks as real wolfdogs? I mean they have wolf content but they are ~ 14 generations away from a real wolf and are a recognized breed. At what point do wolfdogs go from wolfdogs to dogs with a wolf background? F 1-5?
I am wondering how many generation it would take of breeding a 50% female pup with a 100% wolf would it take to make a high content wolfdog. As in taking a female pup from each generations litter and breeding to a 100% wolf. I came up with 25 generations to get to 95% wolf. Am I right?
