A list of puns related to "Willow Tree"
I used to know a boy who whispered to the willow tree. He believed mother natures bellow got trapped in her leaves when the wind blew east, forging a bear trap of childhood reminiscence; a mirror he could speak to.
I would watch earnestly over the hedge as he told her secrets the way kids do. Peered as he carved intricate strokes into her belly and perched against her skin, face blistered and cherry red.
He often shouted at her with the strength of a canyon, shaking her matted hair and rattling the forest dwellers. I wondered why she never left him.
Most nights he returned to place a bouquet of wildflowers on the crest of her trunk before rushing away, knowing she remain rooted. Shielded by the cloak of night and guided by stars, his soft rhythmic footsteps became the woodlands heartbeat.
Once, I caught the boy asking for her hand in marriage; to which she politely, yet firmly, responded with a scorching high-pitched westward whistle. He stormed away, dragging the fog with him.
I even snuck away at dusk to plead with her, offering visions of a life unchained. Instead she remained stoic, awaiting the boy, and me questioning my sanity.

Was made by my friend Igor, he has made a couple that he gave to friends and family. The following is his description as I told him to basically do everything I only gave tips here and there.
Iβve been wanting to make a willow tree for sometime now I think their look is just really pleasing to the eye, I decided to add a detail and make it look like the tree is in the wind so thatβs also how how the name came to be the Windy Willow . The tree weighs at 1.6 ozt Not including the tag thatβs also pure silver !
Thank you for viewing!
Much love,

Hello all! I am in the early stages of wedding planning and one of my must haves is to be married under/near a willow tree. Willow Trees are very sacred to my beliefs and hold a special place in my heart. What wedding venues in Santa Rosa/Sonoma county have willow trees in them? I am open to country clubs, ranches, gardens, etc, and I can vet through prices later, but Iβd love some options to go through! Thank you so much!
Look up at the trees. Beautiful, right? Towering emblems of natural vitality. But how do they grow? Where does their mass come from? The soil?
In the 17th Century, Dutch chemist, Jan Baptiste van Helmont got curious about this question. He planted a willow tree in a pot of soil, but before he did, he weighed that soil. Five years later, van Helmont uprooted the tree and again weighed the soil. It had lost 57 grams. But the tree had gained 74 kilograms. Huh.
So what do trees need? Sunlightβmassless photons, not a great candidate. Waterβbut a tree is solid, dense, substantial even when dried. Carbon dioxide.
That limb that you hung from as a kid, the trunk you lean against, seeking respite from the summer heat, the twigs you use to start a campfire, theyβre all made from gas. A gas that you happen to exhale with every breath. Some of it might end up in the trees.
So, look up at the trees. Sigh. You just literally breathed beauty into the world. Neat, right?
I remember long ago when I was a kid my parents to me some place that had a giant willow tree. The tree was so big it was almost as if you were encased in the tree as you went under the branches. I distinctly remember there being signs that asked not to carve on the tree, yet the whole tree was carved into. Does anyone know where this is? I'd love to revisit this tree with my long time SO.
