A list of puns related to "Willis Tower"
Iโm sure this is a mega annoying question, so Iโm sorry in advance. Iโll be moving to Chicago in 2022 for a job. I only visited once so Iโm not familiar with the city.
Iโm in mid 20s, a single female and donโt know anyone in Chicago. Iโll be working close to Willis Tower and not sure what area to start looking for apartments in.
Iโd love suggestions for a place / area/ neighborhood that has people my age, good restaurants / take out nearby and close to public transit.
My budget is $1700 monthly in case that helps. Thank you!!
So I got 2 internship offers at Willis Towers Watson and Munich Re!
I feel both companies align with the values that I feel are essential, potential co-workers all seem like people I would probably be ok to hang out with (though I just met the head actuary in Munich Re vs 4 Actuaries in WTW), and both would offer a great learning opportunity, BUT the work would be very different.
Work:
In WTW I would be working with Retirement Consulting Actuaries so more client-focused ones. In Munich Re I would be working with Life Reinsurance so it would be less direct with clients and more as a team.
Compensation:
They have similar compensation but Munich Re pays for the apartment. So, it's very tempting. But, as an intern, I'm looking to learn as much as I can and use this experience to decide which specific path would I take.
Location:
Also, WTW is still currently planning mostly virtual and Munich Re is planning on in-person/hybrid in NYC, not sure which is going to be more beneficial.ย ย
P.S. Insider info would be good too haha
Appreciate it!
