For those unfamiliar, "83" is an Indian/Bollywood movie which covers India's miraculous cricket world cup win in 1983 (and is a huge reason why cricket is so popular in India today).
I usually watch movies solo but figured this was a great chance to get others interested in the sport I love so much and provide context behind why it's such a big thing for me personally as an Indian!

Looking to see if there are others who want to the new Spidey movie early on a day when it should be quieter (i.e. less chance of annoying people) at a large screen, and the VueXtreme in Westfield Stratford seems to fit that bill.
Currently mulling over the 9:30am or 12pm showings on Sat 18th Dec, looks like it's £8 tops right now. Could be persuaded to do an evening showing on Weds 15th (release day) instead if there's enough people interested.

The election is here and as a Conservative I will be campaigning to become the next MP for East London. I am one of you, someone who has been brought up and bred in nearby Walthamstow which is not that far from here, all it takes is one bus from here to there which is very convenient. We have an uphill battle ahead of us. There are certain areas that are struggling with families not making ends meet, the homeless out on the streets which seems to be increasing everyday as I pass through, the issue knife crime on the rise in East London and London as a whole and may I add that the Conservative Party will be investing in the police force to increase the amount of officers in the street up to 20,000 as well as supporting stop & search massive cheers from the crowd, in addition to that we suffer from poor air which affects everyone young and old, appalling road maintenance, NHS waiting times and the list goes on and on. This is the chaos that Labour has brought into this area and it’s time they get kicked out, enough is enough I say. claps from crowd
Now why have I decided to launch my campaign here? Well, here we stand and gather in one of the largest malls in Europe and a major hub for locals and tourists which attracts a lot of business. It has also become a centre point for transport infrastructure with the expansion of the Stratford DLR to meet the increasing demands of the public during and after the games. The Olympics was the golden era for the UK and one of the legacies left behind is right behind me and look it’s still expanding with more jobs becoming available and boosting income to the economy.

The shoppers there are so rude it's unbelievable. The best bit about it all was Shake Shack. Wish they'd open some outside of London
Just went there this morning and discovered that they've got a massive Oculus demo area in the centre of the Westfield shopping centre. They have in total 10 demo stations all showing off Touch with the usual demos.
Anyone looking for a try and live nearby head down there. They even have a waiting area and accept walk ups (or you can book via Oculus live).
If its busy then the Game and John Lewis stores also has demo stations in the same shopping centre.
They're drawing in really big crowds and seem to be going for a really big push towards Xmas.

They have a stage area at the end for PvP demo of unspoken! They're only here for a week (until sunday) and started today. They're finishing up touring the country with Birmingham next and then Manchester.

Ok so I was sitting down in the food court of Westfield, with my buzzer, waiting for my Coke Zero and Cajun fries, when all of a sudden I hear a disgustang siren that starts to say that we all need to evacuate the area and that there’s a fire, and a smoke warning. I saw the resturant workers running from their stations, and I was really sad icl…. Like I was so hungry I didn’t eat anything all I wanted was some fries…. I was also confused as to wtf I was meant to do with their buzzer (I was thinking of stealing it out of spite if I didn’t get fries lmao)
I was standing with the resturant ppl who ordered my food, and my friend, everyone was posting for snap stories and doing tiktoks. although the announcement told us to leave, a lot of us stayed, idk why everyone else did, I was just there cuz I was hoping I’d get my fries miraculously…
My friend eventually dragged me away, and as we were walking, we realised the whole food court had been taped with police tape, there was a massive crowd around it wondering what happened, it was so awkward walking through cuz the police guy raised the tape to help me get through (I’m a tall b and I wasn’t about to bend all the way down no thanku) and everyone on the outside was staring at me😭🙈
At the start of the fire alarm was so funny tho, this guy infront of us dashed out soooo fast, as if he thought we’d been bombed or something, these other 2 men sitting close were laughing and high fiving, which confused me, I was just waddling very slowly and depressed cuz I was hungry asf.
Please someone tell me why I was cheated out of my fries? Hmmm? Was there actually a fire or nah.

Conflicting info online and their listed phone number says "wrong number" when you call. So, if anyone knows for sure that will be appreciated as I'd rather avoid the trek if it isn't open anymore
I started queuing at 7:40, was 6th in line. They opened at 8:30 sharp. While in the queue they were making a very harsh questioning regarding people walking in early for 2nd dose and sending pretty much everyone away. I got a more lenient person who after some convincing sent me through saying “I am not sure the doctor will accept this”. Inside the nurse did not even ask me why I was taking it earlier, they called a more senior nurse who simply asked why and checked with the doctor then. They say between 8-12 weeks is more effective so I must verbally agree to accept this. That’s it. In the waiting room now, so fairly quick but there was already some line.
Was asked multiple times why I was coming in earlier than 8 weeks. Got inside and the guy goes on about his duty of care. Because I got my first jab on 12 June (literally 3 weeks ago) he made me show him my confirmation text and told me the time wasn’t “a clear 21 days” to the hour so I have to wait for this afternoon. Bit of a joke but if you’re 21 days or more a good option!
EDIT: went back 2 hours later and had success at the clinic near John Lewis. They didn’t ask to see my flight ticket but I think some are asking for proof if under 8 weeks. Line was much longer the second time around and I recommend getting there first thing from 8am. Good luck!

There were fire engines but was there a fire?
I was sitting with my buzzer after ordering a Coke Zero and fries, all of a sudden these loud ass sirens start and it tells us to evacuate the area cuz apparently there was a fire. I saw the restaurant workers running away from their places and was very upset….. mostly cuz ik that my fries were now cold andI couldn’t get them…. I was also contemplating wtf I was meant to do with their buzzer😂
The restaurant workers were standing there with us too in this big crowd all TikToking and posting on their snap stories. Then my friend dragged me so we could evacuate the food area bit, as we were waking we realised the area we were standing in had been closed off with police tape, and people were behind the police tape on the other side wondering what happened in the food area…. Icl I felt awkward walking through and having the security person raise the tape for me so I could leave, since everyone was staring at us wondering what went on.
It was soooooo funny when the alarm went off at first tho, this man infront of us dashed out as fast as he could, as if he thought we’d been bombed or something, these 2 other men infront of us were laughing and high giving eachother (I was a bit confused by that lmaooo, I was thinking why are you so happy about this).
