I have had GHSV for roughly a year. When I was diagnosed I thought my life was over. Truly. Now, a year later I willingly made out with a man who was clearly having an OHSV outbreak. I told him I had GHSV when I noticed his coldsores and he didn't seem to mind. He (26M) had never even kissed a girl before me so I guess it was genetic. I'm not upset or afraid anymore. I'm lucky enough that It's just a small barely noticeable lesion on my bottom lip, same with my GHSV, just one recurring sore. I know people have very different experiences with herpes, but I thought it was worth saying that without this sub, I probably would have had the same reaction with this as I had with GHSV. I thank God for this sub helping me to move on with my life despite herpes. Still wondering if I should tell him or not, but I actually don't care, plus don't want to worry him unecessarily.

There's two explanations here, 1) he got kicked out off screen, and was apparently the only one this happened to, or 2) he left on his own terms. Personally I like to think option 2 is more likely. See, most unnamed Cobra Kai members are just seemingly mindless followers of the dojo, but something like this, although hidden humanizes them more, although this guy has no lines, is simply background and doesn't even have a name he still has a conscious, realises that Cobra Kai is flawed and acts upon it on his own, unlike his peers who just stand around Hawk all the time. It would be interesting if this was briefly mentioned in Season 4, not any big moment, just a passing mention, because this guy deserves some praise.

I'm not talking about the "traditional light aligned" families, but something where some of Voldemorts canon supporters like the Malfoys decide that after his failure in the first war, it would be better if he doesn't return. Not due to turning to the light or such blabber, but because it simply benefits them more. Look at canon Lucius Malfoy, he apparently has lots of influence in the ministry before Voldemort even returns.

• Weird "family magic" stuff, am more interested in the politics

One of the major issues that the fans have of the Saints Row reboot is the designs of the Saints (Kevin, Eli, Neenah). Since this is such a highly regarded issue, improving their designs would surely bring some people back in. Here are some ways they can improve their designs while staying relatively faithful to their original visions of the designs:

Neenah: Neenah would be the EASIEST design to fix, as her design with the Saints jacket already looks pretty good. Only thing I’d say to change is change her glasses into purple tinted Aviator glasses. We already have Eli in the group with glasses, so giving Neenah different glasses would add some ‘variety’ within the group’s looks. The purple tint within the Aviator glasses would obviously be representing the Saints color. Maybe they can even give Neenah a chain or two for that slight ‘gangster’ effect to make people happy.

Kevin: With Kevin, they have this whole theme of Kevin being shirtless. Sure, you can have Kevin be shirtless some of the time, but why have him be ALWAYS shirtless? Only time we’ve seen him wear a shirt is with a tie, and that outfit doesn’t really suit him. A way they can improve his design is by simply giving him a sleeveless muscle shirt. It’d still give Kevin the whole ‘showing skin’ thing he has going for him while not having him be shirtless 24/7.

Eli: Now, Eli would be the hardest design to fix, as literally no one likes his entire design. However, it can be fixed while somewhat keeping his nerdy style. First, I’d say give him a heavier build. Eli looks abnormally skinny, almost like he’s a little kid. Also, they can remove his bowtie. The tie isn’t necessary, and it just makes it look worse and makes it look even more ‘hipster-ish’. His face also needs some fixing. Honestly, just fix his body proportions. His body proportions do not look right.

Don’t know if any of you have noticed, but the way I described a new Neenah and Eli design is nearly exactly how their concept arts look. That’s because the concept art for the characters look way better than the final designs. Basically, they should just make the designs for the characters look more like the concept art. It isn’t really THAT big of a change, especially since they delayed the game for an extra 6 months. Sure they said they won’t be making any major changes to story and characters, but it’s not like they’d be writing all the characters. It would simply be tweaking the designs.

Is the ego really an interpersonal entity?

I really really want to use safe words but I can't figure out how to speak or move when I'm either in subspace or spooked. Basically, when it's good, I just feel so spaced out and blissed out that I only follow orders and react directly with moans etc. I can shake or nod my head to questions but I can't get myself to move and speak on purpose without any prompting. I don't know why. I've tried everything from visualizations to guiding my eyes to reminders or trying to focus on sensations but whatever i do, i can't manage to break out of my 'mind'. While in subspace that's not really an issue (though still somewhat cause my partner would love to just KNOW I'm ok and happy). But the kicker is that the same happens when I spook. The biggest difference is that i won't moan or react anymore either. Won't follow instructions. Won't even nod or shake my head to questions. Just a complete freeze. It lasts till I can manage to make myself angry (right? What?) Or my partner leaves the room. When they leave I can move and act like normal again and then the feeling starts fading (though i tend to be VERY upset then). We have tried aftercare but it generally doesn't work after I've spooked.

Anyway, I've tried to get myself to make sound, do hand signals, anything... But it doesn't work. I've talked to a psychotherapist with a kink background and they had no idea. I don't have any trauma at all. I don't dissociated. I can think clearly. I just can't get myself to move or talk... I just don't know.

Anyone have thoughts on what this might be? Things I might try?
