A list of puns related to "Visual Appearance"
Like when you look in the mirror some days you think you look 10yrs younger than you are and other days you feel you look the age you are and sometimes you even physically feel small.. weird stuff really throws my confidence around π
It's frustrating to see so many people seem gutted after these set photos have come out, particularly about Bella looking different to TLOU1 Ellie. There are other - and in my opinion, far more important - qualities in these characters which I'm way more concerned about the actors nailing. We all feel like we know Joel and Ellie pretty well as people, their personalities, and we will know when we see the show whether or not Pedro and Bella managed to capture that. I don't know if they will or not. But please, please stop throwing your hands up in bitter disappointment after a couple of set photos because Pedro doesn't have a beard or Bella doesn't have bangs. Plenty of adaptations of games nail the characters' visual appearances but butcher the things about them that made them special compelled players to be emotionally connected to them in the first place. Seeing people say based purely on how Bella's face looks that she is an "odd choice" to play Ellie - how can you possibly know if you weren't in that audition room, if you didn't hear Bella read lines as Ellie and try to evoke the character? I've no doubt that other girls auditioned who looked strikingly similar to Ellie's TLOU1 appearance but they didn't get the gig, Bella did. Neil Druckmann (who you know, invented these characters) has his hands all over the HBO show and of course would've had final say on the casting. HBO would've had their pick of the litter when it comes to Ellie, and they chose Bella for a reason. Give her a chance.
She now looks like crack addicted instead of top model and I paid bloody rogue points to get her when she was out . . . It's especially noticeable when rogues are walking at the match intro scene, it's like she's been in gulag for 5 last years of her life, eating only rat tails.
And reason behind this change? Model face was used without permission?

I could have sworn it was called "retting" but I'm now fairly convinced I must be wrong; I can't find anything related. All I find is related to processing plant fibers.
Example: lining up pens or markers in a very neat organized way at the corner of a desk, next to very neatly arranged note pad, scissors, eraser, etc, like with even spacing around things, with edges of objects parallel and perpendicular to each other.
The word I'm looking for doesn't just have to do with category organization, but also visual presentation, usually on one or more flat surface (usually horizontal, but could just as well be things hung on a wall - as long as they're all aligned and arranged).
This is plaguing me more than having one marker off kilter in a line of markers otherwise all aligned.
Thanks.
I wondered if anyone had come across this issue before. I've been in the 4K Blu-ray world for just about a year now. I was recently watching Spider-Man 2 (2004) on 4K Blu-ray disc (I have an LG CX with a Sony UBP-X700 player if it matters). I noticed in many scenes where Spider-Man is clearly a digital double and moving fast while swinging/jumping, he almost becomes invisible or appears to clip in and out of the scene. Almost like he is in one frame out of the next. Pretty jarring. I have never come across this before watching 4K Blu-ray discs. Has anyone else? Not sure if this is a technical problem with my disc or perhaps just showing the age of early 2000s visual effects in 4k? Any insight would be appreciated!
Alright, time for another poll; this time regarding GUI looks. I'm considering incorporating something special in the mod and would like to see how everyone in the community feels about retro/nostalgic GUIs. So, what's your favorite?

My friend could not handle the look of lootbugs, but she really want to play. Is there a mod out there that could change the appearance of lootbug to sort of a box or something else?
Thanks!
Old Xins W basically had a pixel perfect hitbox that matched the visuals of his spear, which made hitting max range W very easy. But his current one is slightly off at the tip. The spear is clearly on the enemy but the hitbox doesn't reach that far. What a terrible design choice.
Hi guys!
I have the following question - I really like how seasons looks like from a visual perspective - color tones, sky and so on. Autumn looks very cozy and all this kind of stuff.
But I'm not a hardcore player, so I'm a bit lazy to dive into Seasons mechanics - all these difficulties with seeding time, moisture and animal differences.
Is there a way to get only visual appearance from Seasons? Without other changes in gameplay and mechanics? Checked a lot on mod sites and youtube, but did not find anything suitable...
Thanks in advance!
My personal favorite is the good ol' Plasma Rifle.

After reading the post about preferred bans of Twitch mains, I noticed people banning Samira out of fear for her w. I wanted to inform people that Twitch e as the title says, indeed does not get blocked by neither Samira w, Yasuo w, or "Braum e" (Does block if directly on him).
I hope this post will help some people, and out of experience I exhort you to use this as much as possible as it tilts every single Yasuo/Samira player that gets bamboozled.
Here is a video I made to evince what I am talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48AwLd3W3oQ
Lastly, I would like to ask you guys, if any of you know how to, to change the Twitch fandom wiki to not count Twitch e as a projectile. (See the picture below).

Soooo I'm pretty new to the game (bought it some days ago) and I am still trying to find my perfect character. I'm most into RPing so I was wondering. Do the sorcerer bloodlines' endgame talents actually change their appearance in-game? I'm aware that they do get the wings from draconic and so on. But the one from arcana? "Your body surges with arcane power". And what about the undead one? "Your form begins to rot"...? Do these things actually happen? And the elemental ones, and so on... I tried to find something about it but couldn't, only about the wings. Thanks in advance!
After first attempting Dwarf Fortress a month ago, I branched out to other roguelikes and quickly become obsessed with them. I prefer Umoria in the evenings, but during my lunchbreak at work these days I usually get in a 10-15 minute game of Pocket Rogue (I was actually playing Pocket Rogue while on the elliptical at the gym this morning, lol). So I'm just a newbie to the genre.
I apologize if this has been noted by others before me, but something I really appreciate is how the visual appearance of the traditional ASCII games has been reused and copied so often that it is essentially out of trademark/copyright and is public domain.
I enjoy the products put forth by game companies, but am increasing wary of the way that intellectual property is sold and swallowed up by these enormous conglomerates... the general public doesn't own its own culture anymore in the way that it used to. But then there are traditional roguelikes, a genre of games played by enthusiasts and maintained by a grassroots community of programmers. While each individual game is (and should be) protected by copyright, there is a general concept and general visual appearance that anybody who wants can use. I'm not suggesting that unique color selections or designs using ASCII aren't copyrighted or legally protected; I just mean to point out that there are basic symbol associations that are so common that no one owns them. "+" so often means door, ">" means downward stair, and "!" means potion, etc.
Mario will always be controlled by Nintendo, Sonic will always be controlled by Sega, Pac-Man will always be owned by Namco, and Master Chief will always be owned by Microsoft (or at least all of those characters will be owned by some media conglomerate someplace). But @ belongs to the people. In today's world, it's nice to know that there are still some things out there that the general public owns.
Again, sorry if others have written about this before, but I couldn't help from writing about it myself.
For me thatβs DO from EXO. I donβt think he is considered ugly, but I donβt really see him being called handsome. He is really good looking, he looks good even bald.
These are some things me and my friends would love to see
