I wanted to name my son Lance, but my wife said it was too uncommon.

I told her that in medieval days, people were named Lance a lot.

Tutankhamun must have been the least flatulent of the ancient pharaohs of Egypt.

Because his name is homophonous with "toot uncommon".

My dad buying a coffee

He bought his coffee and paid with a Β£10 note and got his change which included a new Β£5 note which is plastic and still fairly uncommon. The woman serving said:

"This is the first time I've seen these, see cause it's plastic do you think you could leave it in your pocket and wash it and it would be ok?"

"You can't do that, it's illegal."

"How's it illegal?"

"It's money laundering" he said with a sly grin.

My mom dad joked us all on a road trip.

We were driving to Minnesota for vacation and as we are passing through Iowa, I see a wind farm (they are very uncommon where im from). I say "look, guys! A wind farm!" To which my mom replies almost immediately "I wonder if they start them off as seeds or sprouts." Kinda caught us all off guard!

Lyft driver dad joked me

An elderly woman is pushing a cart up the middle of the road in downtown San Francisco (not uncommon). The driver carefully, but easily, avoids her. I comment she's really staked a claim to the road. He replied "she's grandmothered in."
