My life took a biggest hit when i was diagnosed with Tinnitus in October 2013, it drove me crazy, i was so disturbed that almost wanted to end my life, as i didn't know how to cope up with it, i was only 23 at that time, it was a drastic change in my life, as just an year ago i started earning very well, it as a big mental shock! Clinical signs: Pain in ear started a week ago. At first it involved pain when touching the base of her ear in the front, then she started reacting in pain also when touching the base of the ear in the back. After a couple of days she started rubbing at her ear and shaking her head. Today she has discharge in her ear which has also dribbled down a bit onto the fur under her ear. She is currently lying down in bed in a loaf position with her head tilted to the side of the painful ear.
Duration: Ear issue started a week ago, today its worse

Inspection performed of both ear canals while under anesthesia.
Right ear - no redness, no foreign bodies, hair around tympanic membrane, tympanic membrane translucent, milky
Left ear - signs of small amount of inflammatory discharge but ear canal without redness, no foreign bodies, hair present around tympanic membrane, tympanic membrane translucent, milky, but with small visible red vessels, no visible polyps
Xray performed of head (with consideration of external ear canals, middle ear, area of tympanic cavities), in Xray no visible issues -width of both external ear canals normal, no increased density in the canals, both tympanic cavities with air, walls without visible pathology. Closer examination of structures will require CT of head.
Its Sunday so my regular vet is not available. Do my cat's symptoms warrant a visit to an emergency vet today, or can this wait until tomorrow?
UPDATE: Went to the ER vet. Discharge turned out to be pus. We have a treatment plan in place.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules.
