A list of puns related to "Tropical Savanna Climate"
It's monsoon season now and I have searched extensively over the last few months and especially in the last 4 months. There's a field infront of my apartment where cows graze everyday but I haven't found one mushroom that would stain blue. I found a lot of mushrooms at the start of the season, but they weren't the kind I was looking for. Lately, I haven't found any kind of mushrooms whatsoever. What am I doing wrong?
Could it be that those animals are sheltered inside during winter? But what about nature preserves like Columbus zoo? Animals are roaming free there.
So in my world I have this empire on a sub-continent thats right on the equator. the centrual areas are rain forests and tropical savanna just south of that. I gave that area a tonne of natural resorces and it also has great natural defensives with rainforest to the north, ocean to the east and south, and mountains to the west. South of them there is this Penninsula the size of China that they heavly influance in trade and such. But my concern is wether this land could support a cavillation
Considering they are in a hotter environment why are they mammoth like at all why donβt they look like Asian or African elephants with much less fur? Is there an explanation or is it as simple as they didnβt want to make a new model for that animal?
what are you growing? what are your farming conditions? what's new in your garden or on your farm? ^-^
Does anybody have advice on growing poppies in Zone 12 - tropical/rainy region? Be great to have more specific details on the types of soil and lighting conditions that have worked for somebody??
The weather sees low temps of 60-65 deg F & Highs of 77-82 deg F with about 100 inches of rain per year (dry season has about 5 inches per month but rainy season is about 12 - 20 per month.
I understand they do well with neglect and don't like to be repotted - even so, haven't been able to make much progress with them. Would really appreciate any insight from the community. Thanks
Couldn't get it to crosspost, but here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/WritingPrompts/comments/rlwpt7/wp_two_wizards_from_great_britain_reluctantly/
I just feel there's a lot of HP potential here, although that's not specified.
I recently moved to a tropical area and have a Yamaha Digital Piano I brought with me. Iβm curious if others think I should get a dehumidifier to keep in the room?
For consideration: Daily humidity here can range from 70-85% and our house isnβt airtight nor climate controlled because the home uses slatted windows for airflow. I keep the digital piano in my office, and I have noticed in the past when we get a lot of the rain that the salt lamp I have in there will start seeping water (because they suck moisture out of the air). Iβm just a hobby player but am wondering if a dehumidifier would help lengthen the life on this keyboard. I bought it about 6 years ago.
I am interested in gaining knowledge (from beginning) about planting trees specifically in tropical climate, such as the materials and apparatus needed, methods of planting tropical trees, types of soils to be used, the science behind it (as a physics major student, understanding the physics behind planting tropical trees would be much helpful), and in addition, in terms of Malaysian law on permitting planting trees on non-owned land, such as the land which its trees were logged.
Thank you so much.
