Im looking for your best spot for Tres Leches! Ive had quite the hankering for a while now, but do not know any good spots for it. Brooklyn is prefered but I'll travel for the good stuff!
I want to get my husband a Tres Leches cake for his birthday in a month, but I was having a hard time finding "the best of" in Austin. Though I kept getting a lot of hits for Chuy's?? I'm personally gluten free so I can't go out and taste them. Hah. But he loves them so I'd love to find a great one.
I’ve been looking everywhere and I’ve come up with nothing. If all else fails, I guess I can make one but then I will end up with way too much cake for me and my partner.

Tres leches is my all-time favorite type of cake. The stores around Santa Ana and Costa Mesa rarely have tres leches, and when they do, it tastes factory-made.
I don’t mind how big/small it is, it’ll all end up in the same spot: my stomach. But what I’m looking for is a good flavor, because I love my tres leches.
Does anyone know any stores that have tasty tres leches cakes?

Has anyone tried this? I am doing a little party for my 5th child's birthday and he wants a taco party and I thought this could be a fun birthday cake to go with the theme. It's just the 7 of us so I don't want to buy one of their giant birthday cakes.
