Treach Puns

Found a Lo - debating on which armor to pump on my merc. Currently using Duriel's Shell but looking to get him beefier.

1. Best base for insight? Is it really Eth Thresher?

2. Best base for Treachery? Low def? Eth?

3. Is griffs with other -LR to monsters viable to use Light sorc WITHOUT Infinity and still do enough damage to LR monsters to at least kill them DECENT?

Naughty by Nature had some massive hits in the 90's like OPP, Hip Hop Horray, and Jamboree but it's like those songs blew up so mainstream that it ultimately hurt their legacy. They're not mentioned in the "golden era" like Gangstarr, Tribe, or Wu Tang. But Treach was equally skilled if not more skilled at rapping than any 90's MC. Eminem credits Treach for being a massive influence on his rhyme patterns.

I’m about 600 pages into MOI and so far I think it’s easily the best of the first 3. Truly enjoying it. But as expected, I have some questions. Can anyone clarify for me the connections between the 3 that I posted in the subject. A few specific questions:

1: I’m having a hard time understanding when / why Fener is no longer a god? (at least I think he isn’t a god?) As the reader, when are we to believe this happened? Why did it happen?

2: Why did Gruntle become Treach’s mortal sword? Was he simply chosen because a rage overtook him when he saw what happened to Stonny? Why SPECIFICALLY Gruntle?

3: If Treach is now a God, who/what exactly was he before he ascended? An “ascendent?” I’m sometimes having a hard time understanding the difference between the two.

4: Does a God need to fall/die in order for another God to take its place? If so, wouldn’t the crippled god need to take another Gods place? I’m not remembering anything spoken of that. Could be wrong. I’m also not sure how this all plays into the Deck and Houses

5: Is Heboric somehow related to the fall of Fener when his hands were taken? I’m getting confused with the connection between that instance and when the “current” priest of Feners hands were taken.

6: I think unrelated, but can someone give me a refresher on who Talamandas is and how he got involved? I understand he’s providing some sort of shield to Quick Ben in the poisoned warrens (how exactly?) but I can’t remember how he got involved in everything. I think his body was excavated and is a barghast, but how did he get involved with Hood?

Any help would be great, but if you feel like any of these questions just simply haven’t been answered yet in regard to where I am in the series, just note that. Obviously I don’t want any spoilers. I’d just like to know I’m at least thinking / asking the right questions.

I have been waiting for this for so long and I can't think a reason why eminem wouldn't do this he always regarded him as the best.

I really enjoyed Monte Cristo, and even though it is obviously fictional, it has a lot of references to real history. I really like this format.
