A list of puns related to "Tigernut"
I'm looking around to see what recipes I can use and what I can make this evening to bring to work with me tomorrow. I was going to make some pumpkin bread, but I think I need tigernut flour for that. Anyone have any ideas?
By the way, I'm on day 3 and my digestion has really improved!!!
Guess that wouldnβt work and fall apart. :/
Many recipes Iβve seen have coconut flour and fat in it, but Iβd like to omit both, if possible.
Do you think adding some applesauce to the tiger nut flour and the arrowroot starch may work? Maybe a banana instead? Carrot purΓ©e?
What, do you think, would work better? Or do you even have some different ideas?
Cassava is also out of question...
I see those in a lot of AIP recipes and wondered why they are as popular. Do they have less Antinutrients/phytotoxins? I also wondered about cassava in particular because, as far as I know, itβs pretty toxic. Wouldnβt that be contraindicated on an autoimmune diet?
Im sorry if those questions come across as negative, they are not meant like that. Itβs just honest interest as Iβm new to the AIP. Iβve recently decided to start introducing some new foods into my diet and thought it would be great to look into the AIP.
Normally I'm fishing with bait on the hook, but also tigernuts using a simple hair (no popups). Since there are many rigs out there, I'm wondering what kind of rigs the float fishers (if there are any here) use that are successful?
Does anyone here drink tigernut milk?
Hello ! I have heard of a vegetable oil which is tigernuts oil (Souchet oil in French). This oil slows down hair growth and in the long term completely eradicates hair. I am a trans, I have hair regrowth on my beard, I would like to know if I can apply this oil even on regrowth?
thank you in advance π
i can eat whole tigernuts and I can eat whole coconuts. But in flourform, even if without additives and without gluten or soy, it provokes a response. WHY
for those who don't know, tigernuts are not nuts and are AIP-legal. The tigernut butter I buy is delicious, but so expensive. I tried making my own with a simple recipe online, but it's just not nearly as good. Any good recipes to share?
Does anyone here have issues with tapioca flour and/or tigernut flour?
I seem to get sleepy, nauseous and terrible heartburn whenever I eat anything like flatbread, tortillas, even just tigernut "muesli", etc. There's nothing else combined that would cause these symptoms, except for these two ingredients.
I have so many intolerances and allergies that I have to eat a very restrictive diet. I've tried plenty of times to reintroduce things that would make it more convenient (affordable & less time consuming & simple & sustainably tasty) and I simply can't steer away from AIP.
Unfortunately, this diet is incredibly time-consuming, expensive and so restrictive, which causes a lot of stress and it's just not sustainable mentally or financially for longer periods of time. Also, I really struggle with many digestive issues even on AIP and/or keto, so I tried including tigernut flour for fiber and the wrap-type options this opens up for me are soooo incredible....not to mention the digestive problems (other than possibly causing heartburn) - it's SO much better!
Sadly, it seems that any time I stop eating anything with these two ingredients, my heartburn and fatigue seem to go away. But so do the digestive benefits. The meal variety and time spent preparing them also get worse. The satiety disappears as well. I've tried adding beef protein powder to wraps to avoid blood sugar problems but it doesn't really change anything.
I'm incredibly bummed out by this. Tigernut flour has improved my digestion & satiety so much and its fiber is the only one that helps like this.
Does anyone here have the same experience? Did you find a solution? What else can I try? Should I even bother trying cassava flour?
