A list of puns related to "Thomas Jane"
Who's the better Punisher actor?
Who has a more dark presence?
& who's more edgy?
He was so awesome and that movie was really good.
The Punisher apparently appearing in Spider-Man 2 is a cool piece of trivia people bring up sometimes when talking about Spider-Man 2, but was that actually intended to be The Punisher?
Iβve dug a little online and Iβve seen people say it is the same actor but Iβve also heard the opposite. Is there a definitive answer to this or is it all head-canon?
This has been driving me nuts. Iβve often heard that in the wedding scene for Spider-Man 2 there is a cameo for The Punisher (specifically Thomas Janeβs portrayal.)
Iβve searched the internet to see if this is true, but I always get different answers. Some say itβs not actually Jane, but itβs his stunt double and the cameo was intended to be Janeβs version of Punisher.
Is there any evidence that this is the case?

The film begins with the Punisher killing several henchmen in an unknown building. After he leaves, he is apprehended by law enforcement in front. He is then transferred to Ryker's Island and interrogated by police detectives Molly von Richthofen (Tricia Helfer) and Martin Soap (Sean Astin). The majority of the film occurs in flashbacks during this interrogation.
First, the Punisher learns that the Gnucci crime family, led by Ma Gnucci (Linda Hunt), are getting drug money from Russian mercenaries at New York City's waterfront. At the docks, he hears that General Kreigkopf (Michael Ironside) plans to smuggle weapons into New York City. He clears a suspected cargo ship of white slavers and defeats Kreigkopf on Grand Nixon Island but fails to find the weapons.
The Punisher then raids a crack house and eventually kills its owner by dropping him from several stories above the ground. After almost getting hit by a car upon his exit, the Punisher traces the vehicle to a chop shop owned by the Gnuccis. After slaughtering the criminals there, he learns that the shop's owner is a Gnucci lieutenant; the Punisher drops him in a car compactor where the owner is subsequently crushed. In a subsequent mission, the Punisher kills one of Ma Gnucci's sons, Bobby, at Lucky's Bar.
Ma Gnucci hires Bushwacker (Kevin Durand) to capture Joan (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos), a former neighbor of the Punisher. The Punisher traces her to the Central Park Zoo, where he rescues her. The next mission occurs in Grey's Funeral Home, at the mob funeral of Bobby Gnucci. The Punisher massacres the funeral party and kills Eddie Gnucci (Nick Stahl) by throwing Eddie out a window and impaling him onto a spike. The Punisher then travels to the Gnucci estate to kill Bushwacker and Ma Gnucci herself. After fighting his way through Ma's remaining men, Punisher then fights Bushwacker who he defeats in a gunfight. To finish off Bushwacker, Punisher rips his weapon arm off and shoots him in the chest followed by Punisher dropping Bushwacker several stories above the ground. Castle hunts down Ma and kills her.
During the Punisher's assault at the Gnucci residence, he discovers that Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan) has been taking over former Gnucci rackets. Returning home, the Punisher decides to raid the headquarters of the Kingpin's Fisk Industries, where he fig

But I gotta say; Why is Thomas Jane so good in this show?
He's never been SUPER good in anything, but here, he turned in like, a Daniel Day Lewis tier performance.
Without spoilers past the end of season 2, does anyone have any insight on him and this particular role? Does anyone know why exactly he nailed it as well as he did?
I was checking the list of guests joining the 2021 Wales Comic Con and saw Thomas Jane will be attending.
I thought it would be interesting for some of you - here's the link to the guest list (and sharing the COVID info page too in case you're curious, though there isn't much info atm)
PS. I'm not sure which flair to select, hopefully I picked the most appropriate one!
