A list of puns related to "The Three Princes Of Serendip"
And what. A. Ride it was!!
I never watched Avatar, so I was eager to watch the next story told by its creator and boy did it not disappoint! I was pretty much hooked from the word go and don't plan on ever looking back.
I love the characters and how it tells a serious story while also being funny and sweet, with such a wide variety in its cast. The diversity has already been praised to high heaven I know, but it's so great to see a mix of races represented among the humans and elves, on top of having important LGBT characters. And let's not forget Amaya! Definitely one of the best around! Of course, there are so many different kinds of people in the story as a whole that there's bound to be someone you personally relate to as well! Callum trying to find something he's good at, Rayla wanting to find out who she is, Ez not being good with people...everyone has both strengths and weaknesses, but also determination and aspirations...they're truly admirable in their own ways. All of them. Heck, even Soren!
I worry I'm going to ramble, but I just love everything. I love the world, the lore, how everyone is so deep and complex...I feel really safe in knowing everyone has a defined character arc that will play out and be satisfying, which you don't really get with other ongoing series. I love how we know as much about the villains as we do the heroes and how everyone has good intentions (with one obvious example so far). The artstyle is gorgeous, the backgrounds are beautiful and all the character designs are so unique and really convey who everyone is...
And the story! I've said it before, but I'm hooked! You never know exactly what's going to happen next and I love that suspense. I love how everyone keeps growing and everything feels natural. I totally get why everyone does what they do and the story is more believable for it. Even the smaller quirks like characters' expressions in the background or dusting themselves off when they get off the floor really drives home how alive everything is. A really neat example is how Amaya usually only turns to see someone if she sees other people react first. Little details like that are so easy to miss and all the more precious as a result.
The character relationships are also solid. I said before that everyone's believable, and this also extends to how they interact with each other. Again, I totally feel that they've known each other for years. When Callum says he's proud of Ez? I feel that; it doesn't feel lik

Heya! This is part two of a single post looking at the lore of Prince Lothric and the nature of the Three Pillars Of Lothric, broken down for the sake of digestibility and convenience; If you haven't read part one yet, you can read it here. Without further delay, let's get back into it!
(Author's note: To avoid confusion, Prince Lothric will be referenced to as 'Lothric' whilst the city of Lothric is referred to as 'Lothric'.
The Hunters of Lothric
Whilst it was not acknowledged as a "Pillar" of Lothric, there was a shadowy organisation that was likely invaluable to the royalty, specifically the King, of Lothric.
They were known as the Hunters and operated in the shadows to carry out decrees of the King that the pillars could not, such as assassination, espionage and enforcing the King's crueller decrees; I'd consider them analogous to the concept of a 'Black Operations' unit within a military that carries out actions that would otherwise be unauthorised and are beholden only to their commanding officer, who in this case, is the King. The power structure of the Hunters is very unclear and I am led to believe by their unsanctioned nature and lack of distinguishing armour that they did not have a distinct organisation but rather were a collection of individuals who all bore the same title who each, individually served the King directly; Much like how the Warriors of Sunlight have no titled ranks in their covenant but still all fight in the same cause. There was, however, one title that a Hunter could achieve in order to stand apart from their comrades in the shadow; Become a Black Hand.
The Black Hands are Hunters who are known by their armour and their propensity to only fight with dual blades and they have achieved this rank by having served successive generations of Royalty. This is on what I base my assumption that Lothric is a dynasty that stretches back rather than a City created by Oceiros and Gwynevere specifically. The rank of Black Hand was a rare one indeed, to the point that only three individuals have carried the title and shockingly, we actually encounter two of these veritable legends within the game; Black Hand Gotthard and Black Hand Kamui. The iden
