A list of puns related to "Tamarack"
Looking to go see Spider-Man: No Way Home during my Christmas break with some friends, and one of them suggested we go see it at a Landmark theatre. I've never been to one of their theatres before, so I'd like to hear from people who've been to both Landmark & Cineplex theatres how the two compare. Also, I typically see movies in Cineplex's UltraAVX format for the superior sound and picture quality. Is Landmark's Laser Ultra format worth it in comparison to 3D or a standard 2D theatre & is it better or worse than UltraAVX?
Decent? Craving pizza. Been to Front St, Biga, Headies, and Bridge craving something new.
Not happy about this, at all.
Our server said it was removed recently maybe because of COVID or increased costs. Pretty vague. I would have paid more! This is a big loss for Missoula.
What's next, the Fish Tacos!?
Change.org petition to follow soon....
A moment I love is when Belinda and (I think?) The Contessa have the tamaracks flute and get high off it and the contessa says βga ga goooβ. It makes me cry laughing and I donβt know why. And Jamie, Alice and James barely react!
We have this vision of ourselves in our mindβs eye. We like to believe that given the chance, we would do the honorable thing. We would be heroic. Few of us ever get that chance. Three years ago, Iβd get mine.
It was a cold gloomy day when I started my new job as a lifty at Tamarack Valley. Itβs a ski resort in upstate New York. Itβs a fancy looking place that I wouldnβt be able to afford to visit if I didnβt work there. Itβs a bit of a drive for me and I wasnβt looking forward to the cold, but the free season ticket made it worth it.
My name is Eddie. I was nervous and excited for my first day. My supervisor told me that I would be working at one of the lifts at the back of the mountain called Moonshadow.
I kept to myself for the first few days. I liked the people that worked my lift. Two of them were around my age (early 20s). Maggie and Nick were both snowboarders like me.
Scot was the oldest member of our crew. He was in his 40s or 50s. He was kind of a fuddy duddy goofball, but he was a cool guy. He was also the hardest worker I had ever seen. I donβt know if it was nervous energy but the guy was a shoveling machine and rarely took breaks.
I got the hang of the job over my first few days. My coworkers were friendly to me but I still kind of felt like the quiet weird guy. They were good friends who hung out outside of work.
I was ecstatic when on my first friday, they asked if I wanted to go snowboarding with them after work. I saw this as my chance to be part of the group.
I went to work Friday feeling more comfortable. I knew what I had to do and wasnβt having to ask for help as much. Maggie and Nick seemed more chill with me. Even Scot seemed to like me.
The workday was nearing an end and I was excited to go riding with my coworkers. I rushed to get my end of the day work done so I could get out as quickly as possible. Scot made that part easy because he finished most of it on his last break.
Nick wasnβt at the garage when I got back. I sat down and waited for about ten minutes before I gave up. I figured that they forgot about inviting me and started walking toward my car. I was feeling bummed before I heard someone say βthere he isβ.
Nick: Eddie! Where were you? We thought you ditched us!
OP~Eddie: I thought you ditched me!
I followed Nick to Maggie's car. Maggie was waiting there with a group of people.
Maggie: Pregame!
Nick: Pregame!
Nick and I walked over to Maggieβs car. They were passing around a bottle of rum. They passed it

Advice....Went out on Tempe Town Lake for the maiden voyage. Man did I have continuous water dripping from included Lifetime brand oar. Then there is the scupper issue....
I think my issue is the length of the paddle. A quick Google of 'what is the right paddle is right for me' left me overwhelmed. Of note I am 5'10"
So I think the included paddle is too narrow. I'm hoping for advice on the right sized paddle as well as brands worth considering.
Thank you!
From the article CarbonCapture Inc., which launched in 2019, also revealed plans to establish a pilot program for capturing airborne CO2 with van-sized units at a nickel mine being developed in northern Minnesota by Talon Metals Corp. and Rio Tinto.
CarbonCaptureβs units, which are being designed to fit on the bed of a flatbed truck, will each capture 100 tons of carbon dioxide per year. Thatβs about as much CO2 thatβs released from 22 cars over a year, according to EPA estimates.
While the amount of CO2 captured isnβt massive, this shows that Rio Tinto and Talon are serious about making the Tamarack Project as eco friendly as possible. Will be good PR for the concerned locals.
Dick's is having a 1 day flash sale, and this model is $299. Great price. Just wanted to let everybody know. Hope this doesn't violate the rules, I don't make any money off this.
