A list of puns related to "Smithereens"
I realized that they weren't kidding about the self-sustainability of the new spacesuit as I stared at the visor that displayed 185D:23H:14M:30S.
I donβt know why exactly. Iβm not sure if itβs that social media tech giant thing, if itβs Chris himself, Iβm not sure if itβs the police and the way they handled or if itβs all the feelings of humanity. Also I understand this episode is different from other black mirror episodes and lean towards very gentle storyline in compare to other episodes.
My fiance and I want it to be our first dance at our wedding this year, but the DJ has to legally be able to own and play it

I really don't like to keep hating on the game cause I love it, but, I feel the last few weeks they really screwed over little players. First, the credit rewards instead of DEC. And now the voucher thing.
I get that people who invest the most get the most, that is totally fair, but give the little guy a chance to get 1 pack at least. I don't even want to buy the packs for the chance to get legendary cards, I just want 1 pack to get the special cards airdrops after the pre-sale. Those cards that were meant to be like a thank you for players who invested something in the game and been here for a while.
Now I wake up with 0.01 vouchers and it would take me 3 months to get a voucher. The move they pulled off just makes the big time investors stronger and the little bronze league player quit. I also just put like 35 $ in credits that now I can't use for anything cause I can't even get even one voucher. I might not be the strongest or most devoted player (i usually just play 45 min daily for the reward), but I played every day for 4 months now and have been active and this is how the devs reward the little guys of the community? It's a joke. I feel like now the only way players can raise up is to either invest quite a bit of money or having to resort to renting, which I'm not a fan of (in my case), cause I would struggle to earn enough Dec required to rent 4000 power worth of cards. Also I would have to play for longer, which I don't have time.
End of story: I've been playing for 4 months and never been able to buy even 1 pack, cause the Dice pack was only with DEC (and were 3k each), and now cause i don't have 4k worth of SPS to stake (not even 200$ to get 1 voucher by the end). It feels like a punch in the gut.
This episode is fantastic. Amazing actors all around
The sniper can't get a "good shot" --- so why doesn't he just move to a different angle?!? if he moves in a 90 degrees angle with respect to the car, there's your perfect shot.
so why?
Can someone explain to me the end of this episode i didnβt really get it. Itβs in season 5 fyi
I guess I need advice.
But this is also a rant.
So today was my first day. It's in a tiny little kiosk in a Safeway. And is apparently #1 in the area (this is relevant to the rant).
I opened with my manager (just us two) who was really nice. She walked me through some basic lattes and refreshe's and had me make the orders as they came in. It was super slow but I was not prepared for the rest of the day (a friday).
A senior barista comes in, we're introduced, and right away she's nitpicking/training-me-as-well.
She quietly proclaims herself as the bad cop because she wants to make sure the shop stays #1. She tells me not to take it personally if she's hard on me and I just nod because it makes sense but at the same time I'm screaming inside.
The morning rush arrives and I'm thrown into the midst. Working the bar, making drinks I barely understand. There's a nifty shots & syrup pumps guide plastered to the espresso machine but I also don't have the sizes of the cups memorized yet so I'm asking questions on the steps ("ice next, right?") and at first she seems okay but as the day goes on and the rush continues she becomes more critical.
And with the change in tone I became flustered, even with drinks I had done before but could no longer remember how I did it before, even though it happened seconds or minutes before.
She kept telling me to go faster and it felt like she was afraid someone would come and snatch their #1 away.
She had me make a Frappuccino I didn't know how to make and watched me mess it up twice even though I had the recipe card in front of me. I asked questions but she just answered, "i don't know, you tell me".
She took whatever confidence I had when my manager was teaching and body slammed it to the ground.
I've read other posts online that it could take up to 3 months (or longer) to be comfortable but I feel like she expects me to know everything right away.
"Not taking it personally". If you have to say it then maybe there's something wrong with your management skills (or wannabe management skills).
I guess I need advice on how to just survive even when your colleagues would rather throw you to the sharks.
She probably didn't want to be saddled with the trainee, and I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help, more like the opposite of help, but I'm new, maybe they should of been more specific about hiring a more experienced coffee person (I have zero coffee experience) so they could keep their stats up.
Should I be asking fo
