It sounds sketch but it isnβt. Iβve just lost my travel nanny (to her marriage π) it was working well prior to that whole romance thing.
Iβm only licensed in GA but can change that and adventure outside these lines if I find an adventurous nanny to accompany me.
For now, Iβd like to find a fun, responsible female to come with me and my daughter on my next 13 week assignment. Experience with small underdeveloped humans is necessary, though it doesnβt have to be formal.
I work 3-4 12 hr shifts a week and will pay for our transportation, food, housing, etc. As well as a wage we both agree on. This gives you a few days off each week to go off on your own or sleep or adventure with us.
Iβm happy to discuss in detail the needs/expectations/perks if there is any genuine interest.
Also, the savannah contract is not yet confirmed, so there is still wiggle room / time to change
Pretty much the title. Whoever controls Savannah at the start of the game believes his ancestor was James Oglethorpe, the founder of the colony of Georgia and founded the settlement of Savannah. Not 100% sure how to implement, probably give him the lunatic trait, or give him a special bonus if he creates the kingdom of Georgia (Renown or crazy amounts of Prestige). Any added ideas in the comments would be welcome.
P.S. Also could have the trait forgiving/generous to mimic Oglethorpe's philanthropic ideals.
Hello everyone. Not sure if this is the right subreddit for this but thought I would give it a shot.
Right now we live in the Northeast part of the US. However we both love the idea of possibly moving to Savannah,GA. We love the weather, calmness, and how much slower things feel.
However one thing I am worried about is where we live currently we are about 5-6 hours inland and itβs very hilly. So natural disasters donβt happen here. If we get a tornado it hits maybe one house and then canβt go further because of the hills. Then for hurricanes we only get the after affects like heavy rain so nothing crazy.
With wanting to move to Savannah I am concerned with the idea of buying/building a house and then a hurricane wipes it out. I couldnβt even imagine. Maybe my brain is over exaggerating how bad it is but I canβt imagine my entire house getting wiped out, flooded, etcβ¦
Anyone that lives in the south is it that bad? What would you recommend to northerns concerned about this? Is there a certain way to buy to avoid the majority of the damage?

I just recently got a new job in Savannah Georgia, any other techs in that area know what the usual equipment style there is? Its mainly heat pumps where im from.
