A list of puns related to "San Luis Potosi"
Hi all, I did not even realize Thorntree shut down but could see basically the preview of answers to the above questions on Google that frustratingly now lead to broken links. (I was naugastyle over there, wrote overly-long trip reports until I lost interest, haha).
I did see a long thread about this region of Mexico from 6 months ago, but this is slightly different. Like that poster, I would be starting in Guadalajara. I'm not aiming to go to Oaxaca/Chiapas as I have done both (and loved both) a few times. Main goal is Veracruz and need to save time for that portion, so I'm thinking 9 days max between Guadalajara and Pachuca (to transfer bus).
I tried writing out some itineraries but it seemed like some wasted bus time to do Zacatecas, Guanajuato and Queretaro, and only 3 nights each, when perhaps one or two deserve more? And of course there are picturesque colonial towns in Veracruz as well, so this might all blend together after a while??
Option 1: 3 nights each Zacatecas, Guanajuato, Queretaro
Option 2: 4 or 5 nights each Guanajuato, Queretaro (or put the extra day elsewhere)
Option 3: 5 nights Zacatecas, 3 nights San Luis Potosi/Real de Catorce (or 4+4)
I lean towards option 3 but don't know what I'm missing in the other cities, or if I'm imagining Real de Catorce as more interesting than it is. The photos are beautiful, though!
Hey guys,
I'm currently staying in SLP and will do so until friday. My stay here has been a pleasure so far, I really enjoy getting to know people and seeing new things.
Your food tastes absolutely delicious as well!
So right now I'm still looking for suggestions as what to do, where to go, what food to try.
Today I'll probably go to Tangamanga park.

Went to my local bucks and there was a guy fighting with the barista because the cup wasnβt right size or shape according to βcoffee standardsβ (I donβt know too much of coffee terminology nor english is my first language) the barista proceded to explain camly and offered him another drink and the guy accepted then complained againβ¦ The barista again had a calm discussion untill the guy drank something else and got quiet.
As somebody who works infront of a computer and has near zero contact with people I wouldβve kicked the guy on his face.
I salute you my man
Saludos desde MΓ©xico
