Just saw a post where someone was acting all high and mighty as if you have to be a veteran dog breeders who takes they’re dogs to shows in a weekly basis in order to be qualified to breed dogs.

This girl was asking about what it would take to start breeding her Samoyed and a ton of self righteous fanatics started attacking her.

Am I missing something??? Please explain.

My girlfriend loves animals and wants to have a dog. I also love animals but I don't want to have a dog until I get my own place to live, now we rent it. So yesterday I tell her, if my investment in SAMO gives us x100 I will buy an apartment and a little samoyed as a present for her. What do you think guys, will this baby make us happy?

Do samoyeds make a good therapy dog for visiting children’s hospitals, senior citizen homes, and schools etc.? We are getting our Sammy puppy at the end of this month and I would really like to get him certified as a therapy dog once he is trained and also an adult. Has anyone had experience with therapy work and their Sammy? I would love any tips. Thanks!!!

I am actually just stuck on what to do, Luna has been on a weird poop journey since beginning of December... Starting from diarrhea, loose stools, diarrhea, loose stools, sometimes firm, but mostly soft... We've been to the vet multiple times and she was out on GI diet and I really don't know if it's even working too because her poops are just like ice cream consistency. Assumed she was allergic to chicken... So I stopped the GI prescription diet and transitioned her to Salmon and Rice Sensitive Stomach and Skin.

In November she was considered pretty slim so vet aims to feed her about 1200 to put more meat on her so I have been doing that since literally at the end of November. I feed her 3 cups a day.

But now it's January, she just successfully transitioned to her new Salmon kibbles and her poop literally still ice cream texture. Sometimes can form into normal poop but when I pick it up it sticks to the ground and it's soft. AGH she use to have NORMAL FIRM POOPS.

My question/assumption is that maybe I am overfeeding her? I heard that can make dogs poop soft. I feed her 2.5 cups for these new kibbles (to aim for the 1200 cal) but now I feel maybe it's still too much for her stomach to take it.

Honestly I don't know what to think anymore. This is getting frustrating and not even sure if it's still worth to go to the vet because the GI Prescription diet is WAY to expensive.
