I started blading a lot again recently and I picked up a pair of aeon 72’s to try some more aggressive and street skating. If you live in Salt Lake City or near Draper or sandy HMU because I desperately need someone to blade with. It can be a really lonely sport sometimes.

This valetines day corporate stands to make 27.9 billion dollars nationwide just on valetines day, while giving less than 1% to the working class. So let's boycotte corporate valetines. We arent boycotting valetines day just corporation involvement. 86% of restaurant workers make less than poverty 90% of retail workers. On the 14th of February there will be a March on main street in support of restaurant and retail workers
The demands are still up in the air but I am hoping to make it rather simple.
Jail time for employers that break employment law. ( right now it's a 5% interest charge)
Protection and assistance for restaurantand retail workers who want to unionize
Stopping the bill allowing 14 year-olds to work In restaurants ( for here in utah)
End to the DABC terrible treatment of restaurant staff. ( they should be going after shady businesses not starving employees)
Stricter regulations on who can start a restaurant. It should be hard to start a restaurant and these place that can't pay employees need to shut down.
Again the demands aren't set in stone but where we are in. Red state I would like to focus on important bipartisan issues.
In order to make this effective a few things need to happen
The boycotte is the most important. It needs to hit corporations in the wallet
As many restaurant and retail workers that we can get to join the protest. Luckily our state protects protesting workers so let's take advantage of it.

I am visiting a friend in Salt Lake City, but I'll be staying in my own hotel room and will have some time away from him when he's working. I'd like to meet someone while I'm there - drink, hangout, maybe even hike and ski. I haven't really traveled since the pandemic began, so I am eager to get the most out of this trip.
If we like each other you can even come visit me in Chicago some time! I always wanted to show someone around, but everyone I've talked to about it has bailed at some point or another. Plus I have a have two bedroom so no need for a hotel if you do visit. I'm getting ahead of myself though - let's just start off with a Reddit chat first.
