A list of puns related to "Salbutamol"
I am in the UK. I have diagnoses of Ehlers Danlos and fibromyalgia. My symptoms mimic a friend with severe MCAS type reactions a great deal, down to a big trigger overlap. I'm currently on 6x 180mg Fenofexadine, and top up with 8-12mg chlorphenamine (piriton). On one occasion, I took 24mg of piriton & 6 doses of salbutamol & was still gasping, unable to fill my lungs and hot/flushed/mildly swollen face. I went to the ER and they only monitored me. Thankfully it slowly improved.
At the moment I've had a lot of new trigger foods, and I'm having more investigation. Chest x-ray yesterday, bloods tomorrow.
The GP said ventolin/salbutamol "isn't a treatment for feeling short of breath" and told me on a phone consultation that I wasn't "medically wheezing". I can't fill my lungs, at the high end of my lung capacity there is an audible "squeak" type noise and if I breathe out, it hisses. Multiple other GPs have prescribed & told me to use ventolin to relieve the symptoms when my face gets hot and burns up. I have minor swelling and have had rashes, especially around my armpits.
I am having what feels like a constant, low level reaction this week. My face is constantly flushed, hot, and I feel dizzy/woozy. My vision can be effected, I struggle to walk or stand up quickly, but those are often low blood pressure/dysautonomia, but when I feel like I'm reacting it's a different sensation, possibly like vertigo? I feel like I'm very drunk in a sauna.
Am I doing any harm if I use ventolin/salbutamol to breathe easier? Is what my GP said accurate? They refuse to do anything besides "if your condition changes quickly, go to the ER". It's pretty scary because I can't eat previously safe foods and I don't know where to start.
I understand this is not a medical advice thread, but I'm hoping to compare notes with what other people have been told / experienced because I feel incredibly alone and uncertain. It's a bit overwhelming to have such a constant reaction and no medical input available.
Do any of the sarm sources have salbutamol? Cardarine and clen are everywhere but I haven't found this at the places I usually would look.
Hi,
My asthma has been very poorly controlled for years, I am taking symbicort which stops asthma attacks but mostly rely on the blue inhalers to keep the breathlessness away. A couple of weeks ago I had an asthma review and was offered a more environmentally friendly blue inhaler which I agreed to.
My old inhaler ran out and I picked up a new one yesterday - it looks exactly the same as the old ones, all the text on the canister is the same but it is offering me no relief whatsoever.
I can see on the NHS app that my prescription changed a few days ago from βSalbutamol 100micrograms/dose inhaler CFC freeβ to βSalamol 100micrograms/dose inhaler CFC free (Teva UK Ltd)β but these sound like the same thing?!?
I feel like I am going mad, itβs 5am and Iβve been struggling to breathe since yesterday afternoon
I'm an avid Ventolin user (urgh...) and I am looking for a better way to carry my inhaler around. I know that there was a credit card sized inhaler designed about ten years ago but afaik it never got to market. Does anybody have any other tips and tricks to make it easier to carry my inhaler around?
I noticed that my salbutamol inhaler makes me want to cough, right after taking it, I feel a tingling sensation in my throat with an irresistible urge to cough hard. I have a checkup coming up this month and will mention this to my pulmonologist. I told this to my primary care physician, who gave me a fenoterol inhaler to try out. It works better (no tingling), but burns a little, like breathing in some mild detergent like alcohol (maybe because it contains some alcoholπ€). Anyone here having a similar reaction to Salbutamol?
The ACTUAL information is that they're changing MDI's to ones with the dose counter... and that's it.
The different product requires a different code, so they are taking the old one off and putting the new one on. Unfortunately, the news reporting ran it like "they're taking salbutamol off the PBS!" and everyone went insane.
Where to buy Ventolin inhaler (Albuterol (salbutamol)) 100mcg online safe?
Anyone have any source for this that ships from EU? (preferably not the UK)
I struggle with chest congestion for a very long time. Last year, I asked my younger brother to set up a nebulizer by adding a couple of drops of Ventolin/ Salbutamol in excess of saline solution. What he basically did was, he forgot about the saline and filled the nebulizer with a lot of Ventolin. I inhaled it all and had a very hard couple of hours experiencing severe palpitations and high BP. It was the very first time in my life that I was feeling my heart like that. I was a very active and energetic 20 years old boy at the time of that incident. After that, a lot of things deteriorated. I started struggling with GERD, lethargy, and palpitations each time I tried doing any physical activity. I started seeing a lot of docs for different reasons. Went to gastroenterologists and cardiacs. Most of the doctors said that my deteriorating health was due to anxiety. I remain a bit nervous and anxious about things but not to the extent that it starts hurting me physically. I tried to persuade the doctors that it was due to the excess dose of Ventolin but none of them agreed. As icing on the cake, my reports for several heart tests like ECG, 24-hour Holter, etc. were fine. I don't know what to do. I experience a strange kind of disorientation, palpitations as soon as I exert some energy, a bit of GERD, feeling of high BP, all at just 23 YO. Suggest me something I should do.
Can I get a albuterol or salbutamol inhaler over the counter in pharmacies anywhere near La Libertad or El Tunco? I have pretty bad asthma and ran out...
Day 1 of Ventolin with Caffeine for weight loss. (Numerous studies you can find on google). Today I only took 4mg of Ventolin and a couple of cups of black coffee. Base heart rate is visibly elevated at 110-120 bpm. My normal base heart rate is 90ish, keep in mind I'm still overweight at 108kg at 1.93m or 6"4.
Feel a light buzz but nothing I can't manage, a feeling of alertness and slight nervousness, as well as very light shaking of hands. Will up to 8mg tomorrow and supp with taurine and l theanine.
Max heart rate working out was 160, doesn't really go below 120 when active. Leg day slight cramps but nothing crazy. Feel like I can go harder than usual.
Would you think a resting rate of 120 bpm is normal when on ventolin + caffeine? I guess it makes sense since that is the range for fat burning.
My legs and and hands/arms feel really jittery. Not sure if itβs my anxiety kicking in or my inhaler making me feel that way.
Was considering doing a cycle of cardarine to lose some stubborn fat but have recently discovered that Salbutamol has weight loss properties as well. Do you guys have any advice or preferences?
So with the Fostair inhalers there's a handy dandy counter on the back so you know when you're running low, but my Salbutamol inhalers don't. I'm terrified I'll go to use one and it'll be empty when I don't have access to another.
I saw a allergy doctor about 5 years ago. He advised me that before exercise, or if I thought I needed it, to take my Salbutamol regularly. I've been taking it every night before bed for several years now.
Since around February, my asthma has been fairly out of control. I cough for 1-2 hours int he morning, I often have a lot of productive coughs in the morning where I cough up mucus, increased nighttime asthma attacks...
I spoke to my doctor yesterday and said my asthma was out of control and wanted to know what else to do. We went through my routine, and she told me to stop taking the salbutamol at night, and only take it right before excercise or while having an attack. Surprise, I had an attack last night.
Not sure if it was just a coincidence. Does anyone else take salbutamol fairly regularly even while not having an attack?
Most pharmacies are now refusing to dispense Ventolin unless you have a script from your doctor to prove you need it.
I suspect that if you have scripts for preventers then they might also allow you to purchase ventolin, but I cannot comfirm this.
According to my local pharmacy, this is because people have been purchasing large amounts of Ventolin who have no medical reason to purchase it.
Further PSA: For the hoarders who dont need it. If you get pneumonia from Covid-19, heads up Ventolin wont help. I have had pneumonia many times now, and I can assure you that my trips to the hospital have come about because the Ventolin did nothing to help my symptoms.
EDIT: Forgot to add. When you get Ventolin on a prescription they always seem to dispense 2 (and have done for as long as I can remember). If you only want one, make sure you tell them clearly you only want one.
