For my Blackberry Jam cooks, we will have a bumper crop this year. I've never seen so many blackberry blossoms. Watch for bears: Canadian Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio canadensis), on Blackberry blossoms (Rubus ursinus), our sugarbush, Bemidji MN

[todayilearned] TIL that "Blue Raspberry" isn't a made-up flavor but an actual Raspberry sub-species known as "Rubus Leucodermis", grown exclusively on North America's west coast.

Yesterdayβs weather was absolutely nuts!
Up on Alabama hill we got blustery winds, rain, sunshine, hail and even SNOW yesterday.
and I was prepared for it all thanks to u/Rubus_Leucodermis and their hyper-local weather forecasts! Thanks to this community that supports local people and their passions.

Can u/rubus_leucodermis confirm the prediction of snow for next week?
Theyβve been correct twice so far this season so they have an accuracy rate greater than accuweather. This local truck driver wants to know how the roads will treat me next week.

Dear Swedish people. I am trying to get my hands on one of those delicious berries your country is famous for. Since I am located in Germany, and traveling isn't the best idea these days, I want to try my luck in growing one myself hydroponically.
Is anyone of you in possession of seeds and willing to trade via mail? I've got some interesting pepper/tomato seeds to offer.
cheers! (still searching)

Hey everyone, I have been interested in trying to grow some cloudberries. I live in Wisconsin, which seems to be an alright area to grow them in. I was wondering if anyone has a guide on their care, or where I could buy some seeds? Thanks

Collecting TONS of wild black raspberries this season, hoping to make my first jam! Iβm having trouble finding black raspberry-specific (rubus occidentalis) recipes though instead of blackberry or raspberry. Anything I should beware of? Or would general blackberry recipes work?
