wheres the loganberry???
hey buffalo reddit, im currently sending a package of buffalo goodies and loganberry was my first thought. today i went to wegmans, save a lot and 2 tops and nowhere had any canned loganberry. anyone got any ideas of where i could find it?
Where can I find Loganberry soda in Rochester?
I want to bring some as a gift for a nostalgic friend downstate., but I don't want to drive to Buffalo to acquire this stuff. Has anyone seen it locally?

It's a thing in up in Buffalo (or so I've heard), so it feels reasonable that somewhere in the city would carry it, but I don't know of any shops that cater to upstate specialties off the top of my head.

Methylated spirits still being dyed purple even though we live in an age of WKD Blue and Loganberry Red Square so it's not as off putting as it once was.
Maybe it needs to be dyed the same lurid yellow as pre-mixed sugar soap or just grey.
I can't imagine parents convincing their children not to drink the purple stuff in one cupboard when they drink the purple stuff from another.

Planted a Loganberry cutting at the beginning of May. I honestly wasn’t expecting blooms this year- let alone in 7 weeks. Am I supposed to pinch off the blossoms this year or should I just let it do it’s thing?

Loganberries in the city - fresh or products
Hello,
Anyone know where I can get some loganberries - fresh/frozen/preserved or any product really in the city? I know they are popular in the north of New York State and was kind of hoping to see them in the city somewhere.
(I know amazon has some options).

Looking for an Aunt Rosie’s Loganberry shirt or onesie
Title pretty much says it all. I’m on the hunt for a onesie or t-shirt with the Aunt Rosie’s Loganberry logo. It’s for my new nephew that was named Logan by his Cleveland and Tacoma-born parents, who have no clue what loganberry even is.
Any ideas of where to a shirt besides the usual online places? The vector artwork itself would also work if any designers happens to have that buried in a hard drive.

My Final presentation of the 12 bottles I'm aging from my 5 Gallon of Loganberry Melomel - Came out great at 14.5 ABV slightly sweet yet dry at the same time. Loving the clarity.
Loganberry Margarita
I went to Duffs recently and tried their loganberry margarita and wanted to try to make it myself. Wondering if anyone's tried before and has any ideas on ratios to use - also do you think the syrup or canned loganberry would be best?

These are all over my yard in Ohio. They look like loganberries, but the druplets are hard like pomegranate seeds. If you crush a druplet a semi-clear red liquid is inside, but I haven't tasted it. There are no thorns on the plant.
Where can I find Loganberry?
Visiting my folks out of town tomorrow, and they asked that I bring them some of that sweet Buffalo nectar. Is there anywhere that sells it in cans/bottles? I'd prefer not to show up with 6 large drink cups from Mighty Taco, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Anyone heard of "Loganberry Drink"?
First discovered when I went to college in Buffalo, NY. Apparently the history of it is a little complicated. It started as a fountain drink in an amusement park in Fort Erie, Ontario province called Crystal Beach that was open from 1888 to 1989. When the park closed, Aunt Rosie's company took the recipe and began to sell it to the region, including Western NY State. The original family that made Rosie's sold it to Pepsi, but another company, PJ's Crystal Beach (harkening back to the original amusement park) was started by a family located in Tonawanda, NY.
The drink is non-carbonated, sweet and syrupy, and I've never seen it as a drink outside of that area.
Stockpiling the essentials. If anyone is in the WNY area I HIGHLY reccomend Black Button, the Loganberry is fantastic!

Looking for a few ideas, I know you should normally stray away from brightly colored artificial additives, but loganberry is one of those flavors you just can't beat. Thinking of either rum or bourbon as a base but idk where to go from there. Thoughts?
