(Friend and I came up with these on the ride down to Boston for a concert, after the “I wonder what Chris Pine smells like?” joke was brought up again from a previous time hanging out. I’m particularly proud of Bob Moss and Zoey Salad-ana.)

Last seen her rocking this gorgeous outfit at that Boulder City monumental gig with a bunch of stoners around.

Man, she was just stunning.

The intro ended with a question: How did the Nabataeans build this city of stone?

From the back of the room I hear my dad say: “clearly they built it on rock and roll”

sigh

We were driving down the highway just outside our city, and where we live they had to blast through a lot of rock to build this highway. My girlfriend, looking at one of these rocks we drive through asks:

'I wonder how they got the rock to look like that"

me: "well it's simple, they were e'road'ed"

she didn't speak to me for the rest of the trip.

I posted this to facebook:

My mom replied to the post with this:
> I'm sure there are climbing wall in other cities too.

I laughed my butt off and showed it to my boyfriend. He sadly didn't get it and I had to explain it to him.

So my dad and are touring a college in Rapid City, South Dakota, and we drove past a Geology Museum. He casually pointed it out as we had not noticed it before. I waited a few seconds, fully expecting a Geology rocks joke, but he was silent. I asked him why he didn't make a joke, as he is notorious for awesome dad jokes, and he looked at me and said, "I was going to but I felt like I was stuck between a rock and a hard place." I just looked at him and gave him a fist bump. This is going to be a great trip.
