A list of puns related to "Robert's Rules Of Order, Newly Revised"
Recently there has been a serious issue with reposting. One user will crosspost something that fits this subreddit from another subreddit, and within a few hours there will be 10 to 20 other crossposts from the same subreddit. We will now be removing these posts because they serve no purpose other than to dilute the discussion across multiple posts rather than concentrating it into one single post.
If you are cross-posting something on the same topic as a recent post but is not the exact same post, or decide you want to make a text post about something that has been posted that is fine, but 15 crossposts from the same post in r/Bad_Cop_No_Donut or one of the other subreddits similar to this one is unacceptable.
Starting tomorrow, reposts will be removed.
The rules of the subreddit have also been revised. Please read them and make sure you understand them.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Edited to add:
Anti-vax/anti-mask/covid denial will get you permabanned as well. It's a Public Health crisis, and if you spread misinformation you are a piece of shit.

Thank you to everyone that helped me out in my last post here, I have gone through the Vault Dweller's survival guide and used some other load orders for reference. **This is still an untested load order** but I had to pick a flair and I think it would be the most accurate. Here is my new load order (Google Doc), please take a look. Thanks!

What does this mean!?
>If you can't say something helpful/productive, don't say anything at all
I am tired of committee meetings in the summer, but more than that, I'm tired of everyone kicking the can for hours but then shooting down any suggestion that someone makes to move forward, without any suggested alternative. I get that everyone's burned out and tired, but the time it takes to gripe about a suggestion could be better spent thinking of an alternative idea. Say nothing or propose a different approach. How short and lovely meetings would become!
Sorry, I had to get that off my chest. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
Now that some people actually have the box in their hands, I was curious if anyone has compiled a list of which/how many new XP cards have been included into the new Core from other expansions.
I know someone here mentioned that Old Book of Lore's upgrade is now included in the Revised Core, so I'm curious what other cards are now provided that were not in the original Core.
I posted a link to this PTW guide previously with an amazing response. It is chocked full of information and has a thought-provoking FAQ section.
This link has the newly revised version with detector correction factors and TRS code of practice: https://www.ptwdosimetry.com/en/support/downloads/?type=3451&downloadfile=1836&cHash=f4027478a0444987243a730991d2ed1c
Does anyone use an alternative framework to Robert's Rules of Order (RRO) to run department or committee meetings? I found A Short Guide to Consensus Building which describes a simple way of building consensus through voting and facilitation. I appreciate the simplicity and the focus on getting the majority to agree.
Answers to anticipated questions; No, my department does not have bylaws. Yes, some faculty are using RRO in ways that limit debate. No, I'm not going to ask faculty to learn RRO because *gestures broadly at everything*. Yes, I have taken a sample of faculty and found that they find RRO limiting.

Does anyone in academia actually understand how Robertβs Rules of Order works, or do we just like to cite it to sound clever? Is this a rhetorical question? The more I learn about it, the more I understand that the way our meetings have historically been run is more like a bad misreading of RRO.
Some people in the live thread were looking for a revised draft order after the F/S picks were removed. I've gone through the live blog and it looks like this is how the upcoming picks look. The pick numbers used by WB and Collingwood were the respective pick numbers at the time the bid was matched. Notes are any changes after the final draft order was set prior to the draft beginning (as shown in this list).
