A list of puns related to "Richard Dawkins"
fed up with Richard Dawkins. somehow he gets away with calling muslims terrorists and calling anyone who follows a religion deluded and insane. im fed up with it. no one EVER calls him out on his bullcrap.
I know his name, but I don't know why he is so controversial, I know that he was an atheist and he criticize religions, what are your opinion about him?
Would be one thing if he was a yank, but he isn't, what's he ranting and raving about that actually has any effect on him as an English person when it comes to religion?
Sorry a bit late but Richard shared this last month

I see a lot of atheists including PZ Myers opposed it. Not to forget Armin Navabi from Athesit Republic even made a video on it and criticized Richard. I know some members from LGBT and even they called out Atheists Republic for that.
But howβs Richard wrong here? Why should women be in jail in same prison as biological men? Why should them be competing with biological men in sports? Esports? Yes but physical sports?
I understand everyone has their right to be whom ever they want unless you donβt physically harm someone. My actual question is how are you gonna regulate it and make it part of the constitution? And if the state doesnβt make a decision then whatβs the point of different sex toilets? Are we heading towards same sex toilets then? Why it should be morally acceptable if a straight male pervert declares himself to be a trans and goes into the same prison as females? He uses the same toilet as well? Competes in the same physical sports?
Before calling me transphobe or anything, I expect sincere answers to the questions I asked as I genuinely want to know the other view as well.
found on his twitter yesterday, https://twitter.com/RichardDawkins/status/1477221165571751941 Richard talks about this in detail in his book unweaving the rainbow and the 2017 edge question

"We are all atheists about most of the gods that societies have ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further". - Richard Dawkins
The title covers it all. You can find the Twitter thread in question over here: https://twitter.com/RichardDawkins/status/1465324057277173772
But, prepare for a doozy. The hilarious thing about the anti-trans declaration he's signing is that there's also just a bunch of "restrict women's choices" things in it too, such as banning surrogacy. Since TERFs are very close to religious conservatives in their ideology of "what a woman is" and they both want to restrict women into specific roles. As shown and discussed here, here, and here.
Halfway through and I am really enjoying this book! Iβm thinking of buying it as a Holiday gift for everyone I know.
I will say, I find the book slightly difficult to read. The vocab is pretty advanced, I wish it was written to be a slightly easier read so it would be more accessible. I find myself having to look up 3-5 words a page and Iβm a Communications major lol
Even though I've just started this book, its written to directly speak to your heart and brain in such a way that it leaves you in awe. I love the writing style of this author and more importantly, I love the fact that he lists the aspects which will be covered by each chapter in the book. I mean, what else can one expect from a knowledgeable, intellectual and well-renowned gentleman.
I already know that imma love this author by the end of this book. The book is incredible. Time to keep on reading. Hope y'all have a good day.
Here are two quotes from Richard Dawkins, which serve to illustrate the cognitive dissonance among breeders that even he retains:
βWe are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die because they are never going to be born. The potential people who could have been here in my place but who will never see the light of day outnumber the sand grains of the Sahara. Among those unborn ghosts will be greater poets than Keats and scientists greater than Newton. We know this because the amount of potential people allowed by our DNA so massively exceeds the amount of existing people. Against such stupefying odds it is you and I, in our ordinariness, who are here. How dare we, the privileged few who won the lottery of birth against all odds, whine at our inevitable return to that prior state from which an infinite majority have never stirred?β
βThe total amount of suffering per year in the natural world is beyond all decent contemplation. During the minute that it takes me to compose this sentence, thousands of animals are being eaten alive, many others are running for their lives, whimpering in fear. Others are slowly being devoured from within by rasping parasites, and thousands of all kinds are dying of starvation, thirst and disease. It must be so. If there is ever a time of plenty, this very fact will automatically lead to an increase in the population until the natural state of starvation and misery is restored. In a universe of electrons and selfish genes, blind physical forces and genetic replication, many are going to get hurt, some are going to get lucky, and you won't find any rhyme or reason in it, nor any justice. The universe that we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is no design, no purpose, no good and evil, nothing but pitiless indifference.β
From a human perspective, which is really the only one that matters, since there is no other, I would certainly describe this as an evil system. A meat grinder, to use Inmendham's phrase. Breeders feel comfortable tossing an innocent person into that, but I don't. Dawkins being giddy as a schoolboy over βthe wonder of it allβ while simultaneously acknowledging the horror of it all captures perfectly the schizophrenic lack of self-awareness among even Enlightenment heavyweights such as himself. The lion's satiety does not justify or outweigh the terror of its prey being hunted and eaten alive. If procreators want to blame Benatar for increasing

Yeah, the question. Feel free to say why.
Just curious what might happen. I hope he could try ayahuasca , and maybe he would find out his theory of pure rationality start to crumble.
