Just looking for some incite if this happened before when lots of reviews clearly state that a new or changed narrator has effectively killed the delivery of the book / series as a whole.

ever since this comment i've been talking non-stop to people on here about Prince reissues. figured i would just share it out with the community since there is interest. there is some excitement for sure seeing VMP offering these albums, but before you get the bundle you should know a few things....
the 2009-2011 AAA RTI Reissues: released in a two year span these are all cut from the Warner master tapes. during this time Prince was still split from Warner, so the tapes used are not technically the "original masters" as those resided in Paisley Park. while Prince didn't "own" his masters he was still physically in possession of them (side note, if you can go online and lookup pictures of Prince's Vault. it's insanse). these are all plated at RTI. these all sound fantastic and most of them are still accessible and cheap. The EU versions were plated at RTI and pressed at Optimal. the only flaw with these is that the packaging is not very sturdy. if you're buying second hand you will most likely find comments about the jacket getting creased or something. just know this is probably more of a reflection of the quality and not the owners fault. printed inners are cool tho

- this is not my favorite Prince album, but this is the best sounding version of any Prince album I have ever heard. a must own if you're main reason for collecting records is the sound

The reissue is my dream Chanel bag. When I tried them on in store they were around AU 6.5k (lool). Spending more than 3k on a bag makes me feel a little ill since I can just look at my bags and they scratch, so after finding Repladies on a Gucci 1955 hunt, I jumped on a 187 mini reissue. Have since realised minis are not for me but 225, 226 and 227 are my jam.
I am a picky QCer, when you own the authentic version of a bag it’s easy to know which factories are “good enough”. Some brands don’t have high tier options -sob- but Chanel is so well repped that even mid-high tier can be impeccable. I don’t own any authentic Chanel so I was a 187 or nothing kinda gal, until I received a Xiao C Gabrielle. I then re-read the Xiao C reviews (u/appleloves412 is the bible for reissue reviews) and decided to pull the trigger on this So Black 225 (24cm/Size Small). 187 came next from Heidi as I wanted to make sure I had top tier of this bag, I stupidly purchased it while the Xiao C was still on the way to me. I am parting with the Xiao C but only because the 187 is so buttery and delicious, if it had the same quality as my 226 187 I would be keeping the Xiao C.

187 wins, it is ridiculously soft yet feels sturdy. For me this is worth the extra $, however, the Xiao C is still extremely soft and very high quality. I have owned a 187 mini and 187 chevron 225 which were both very soft, my 226 187 is on the drier side. This 187 So Black 225 is the softest of all, they just vary by batch and can all be conditioned to perfection.
The images might be deceiving because in real life the bags look identical, the distressing, the sheen, the colour, thread and hardware.
