A list of puns related to "Radix"
Letβs get a thread rolling on thoughts of how XRD can seriously become the go to chain for DEFI in the future, itβd be good to hear how people think the fundamentals of radix stand out in comparison to other chains and what flaws people see in the future as well. Personally I believe the project as great tech and the potential to be huge in the next few years although my main concerns centre around lack of marketing and other chains having first mover advantage with similar tech. The lack of VC funding is also a red flag as I canβt see where the major drive will come from in the future at the min as tech alone donβt seem to win the race.
This question is not about speculating whether crypto is a bubble thatβs about to pop or not, but in the hypothetical scenario that some sort of significant crypto crisis starts happening; how will Radix survive?
In parsing this question, itβs worth thinking about what happened in a recent bubble, between 1998 and 2001. In the βnew economyβ of the late 1990s, anything with dotcom at the end of it rose in value, but most of it came crashing down in the early 2000s. Companies like Google, Tencent, Alibaba, Amazon were all founded before or during the build up to the crisis. They took hits, but ultimately rebounded and are amongst the highest market cap enterprises today. Similar could be the case with Radix.
I am confident that Radix has one of the strongest propositions in crypto today and should be amongst the survivors in case of a popping bubble.
In case of such event, values evaporate, money flows out and some of todayβs names will disappear and leave a clean field. Assuming Radix will meet all their promises and delivers on the roadmap, what else does it actually take to survive?
When crypto attracts less money, how does this affect Radix? Does the team have enough financial back ups to go for some more years at times when most of the market lost their interest?
What else is needed to survive?
Your thoughts are highly appreciated.
Cerby Finance is a DeFi ecosystem centered on cross-chain technology that allows users to bridge, swap, stake, and borrow across multiple networks, including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, and (soon) Radix DLT. $16mill marketcap
The current state of DeFi forces users to decide which network they want to use, making it sub-optimal to generate value. In addition, the proliferation of automated bots puts users at an unfair disadvantage by front-running trades and taking away arbitrage opportunities.
Cerby Finance solves these challenges with our cross-chain technology, anti-bot protection, and DeFi products that work seamlessly across our supported networks. Our ecosystem empowers users to transfer value, balance prices, borrow funds and seek better returns while protecting against automated bots from stealing potential profits.
With a proven track record of delivery and an extensive roadmap to develop a next-generation cross-chain DeFi ecosystem, Cerby Finance is set to grow into a Top 100 project and beyond.

I'm trying to learn as much as I can about Radix, I find the L1 sharding method really interesting. Are there any implications about how this affects security? I want to look into the research that was done into Radix development but I'm running into the "don't know what I don't know" problem and am having trouble finding resources.
What are the biggest criticisms of Radix today? It seems like an excellent DLT solution but I'm worried I'm at the peak of "mount stupid" in my stage of research.
After a bunch of airdrops, I'm getting tokens that I don't want. Is there a proper way to burn them? Or is there a 0x0000 address that I should send them to?

To all in the Kentucky area, I will be hosting a Crypto meetup event at Country Boy Brewing in Georgetown, KY on 2/2/22, where the focus for the event will be learning more about Radix DLT and how attendees can become involved within the crypto community. You do not have to be a developer to attend, it is open to all and everyone has something that they can bring to the table or learn about in the space. We will have giveaways of Merch, food and possibly other items.
Currently I have partnered with LYPA and more groups are in the works.

This is for new investor that want to purchase RADIX (XRD). Bitfinex doesn't require KYC. This video show on how to download a wallet , buy XRD in Bitfinex, Then step by step on how to transfer, and check at your Radix wallet if its already transferred. Please help upvote so that new investor purchase XRD instead of E-XRD.
If its a fixed supply of 24 billion and youre burning millions in transaction fees each year doesn't it run out?
Hey there!
Some of us might be using coinstats to track our portfolios, but unfortunately there's no support for Radix outside of Bitfinex. Feel free to give it a vote if you're using the app.
I am getting an error that I cant connect to mainnet, anyone else having that issue? I am using desktop radix wallet version 1.2.6. Thanks
Hi dear community,
I want to jump in on Radix by buying some on Bitfinex . Anyway it seems pretty expensive to get euros depositrd. I would like instead to transfer some (stable) coin from my krakenaccount to Bitfinex. Two questions on this process however :
Thanks in advance
Any advice on the cheapest way to buy Radix?
I just don't understand why they are so under the radar? If they have a good product then there is not reason not to push for it? It feels sketchy that they don't market at all.
I am personally invested in this project and love what they are doing. But that is the one thing that really rubs me off the wrong way.
Will probably get downvoted posting this in the Radix sub where obviously everyone is a fan but just wanted to share feedback that the whole KYC thing is a turn off.
I downloaded the desktop wallet and was ready to buy but then found out KYC is required to swap from EXRD to XRD. This got me thinking that itβs likely their whole blockchain/dlt will require this in the future.
I guess the arguments are that itβll be required in the future by governments but at this point in time when other chains arenβt going that path Iβd rather not go that path either.
Can anyone confirm radix will not be going this path and that itβs only required for the bridge or is it definitive that they are going the kyc route?
and there are about 9.7B circulating tokens (which means additional 9B tokens were released after the first sale that happened in Nov 2020, correct me if im wrong), it didn't see much price action despite getting a lot of attention? Given that most of the tokens/coins in top 60 did (20+)x in their lifetime, I feel like something is suppressing the price of XRD. I'd love to be enlightened on this. Cheers.
PS: I'm already invested.

I'm sold on Radix, but I want to see the full picture. Does anyone have any cons of Radix as a network, or as an investment?
Also a few noob questions:
A multiple-time Radix titleholder has done some disturbing things. This particular male dancer was at Club Dance Studio at the time of the βincidentβ (Not quite sure what else to call it). At Radix Nationals 2017, this dancer allegedly set up one or more cameras in the little girls dressing room. Itβs unknown what the repercussions of these actions were, but he was kicked out of Club Dance. Apparently the Club Dancers are banned from talking about it. That same year, he won his first Radix title. And in 2021, he won another. He is currently touring with the convention, and I know I definitely wouldnβt want MY kid around him.
Ociswap is the first pairwise DEX that will be launched at the Radix Babylon release.
The combination of low fees on the Radix network, and the masterminds behind Ociswap, makes this project very promising.
The intention is to create a decentralized exchange, where people could easily swap one token for another token, without the use of a third party, directly from their wallets.

So I got the hardware wallet generated. Tested works great. Question is do i need to document the seed phrase in the hardware wallet? Or is the line of thinking my seed phrase for the ledger is what i need to keep track of and the ledger keeps track of the radix wallet?
I'm very interested in the project and I would like to get in, but how do I get mainnet XRD tokens? All I see on the project's website are wrapped XRD tokens, or eXRD.
Went to the explorer.radixdlt.com, the page loads but no content appears. My wallet address shows nothing. Anyone else experiencing this?
I've been working on this side project for a few weeks and just released the first version of the website https://radix.earth
It's a website that visualize the radix network and also enrich the validator set with data such as country and ISP/Hosting provider. The purpose is to further increase transparency and easily see the geographical diversity of the network.
On the Earth, each validator is shown with a red pin. The length of the pin represent the comparable percent of stake that has in relation to the other pins.
It's exciting and I have many features I want to add, a few of which is in the pipeline:
Please add if you have ideas, feedback or something you are missing!
This project is made in my free time, and I am not running a validator. If you enjoy the project, be sure to show support via a donation.
P.S for geographical validator diversity Africa and South America badly needs validators. Opportunity if the community sentiment is to increase decentralization perhaps?
Today Radix reached one of their milestones on their roadmap by releasing their asset oriented programming language Scrypto.
Scrypto comes with a ledger simulation environment so that developers can start working and testing with the language, and smart contracts and dApps will be able to go live at day zero of the Babylon release next year (late 2022).
Radix believes that Scrypto will be a game changer for DeFi because it is the first smart contract language that is asset oriented and deals with many of the issues present in DeFi today.
Over the last couple of years Rust has become a prominent programming language for blockchains and decentralized finance as it is the preferred programming language for high-profile projects like IOTA, Near, Elrond, and Solana, and now also Radix is building on it.
Scrypto is extending Rust (and the Rust compiler) in the first iteration because it gets to inherit so much good infrastructure as Rust is a mission critical programming language itself (designed for high uptime - low mistake tolerance situations like running nuclear power plants, or in DeFi transferring value).
Scrypto is a thin but powerful layer on top of Rust. The beauty comes from the compiler being able to confirm that the Scrypto layer constructs are being coded correctly. You know how the language design of Rust helps enforce memory management? Scrypto does the same but with assets and other resources.
Further into the future Scrypto may migrate to a unique compiler. Radix feels that the asset-oriented extensions for dApp use are so substantial - and the resulting experience so unique - that Scrypto deserves to be called its own language.
Ethereum in their EVM and other projects with smart contracts started with the simplest model: there are smart contracts, they can talk to each other, you can call their methods in transactions. This basic structure makes anything possible so what is the problem?
Radix has the benefit of seeing what's happened since then, which is that basically every smart contract of any meaning on Ethereum is written around assets. Digital assets of value are, it turns out, the reason why distributed ledgers exist. In hindsight perhaps no surprise since the first use of blockchain was... Bitcoin - a n

Over the next 2 months there are multiple events which individually are bullish, but as a whole are pretty much guaranteed to cause a monumental pump for Radix. I'll break these down, but first, in case you've never heard of it, a very quick overview of Radix:
Radix is the first and only DLT to solve the trilemma without breaking atomic composability. AC's important, google it for an explanation. They are also developing a Dapp platform that is stupidly easy for devs to use, and far less prone to hacks than Solidity. Radix has been very carefully designed to tick all the boxes necessary for DeFi to take over TradFi. Everything has been considered.
Now, why will it moon over the next 2 months?
API Update & Exchange Listings
Radix went live on mainnet around 3 months ago. At that time, the team put in a whole bunch of effort working with bitfinex to get it listed there. This required some "fudging" to get the exchange to work with the API. To get listed on more exchanges would require more fudging, and every fudge would require exponentially more work for all future updates.
Instead of pushing for more immediate listings, the team thought long term and decided the best option would be to refactor the API to fit ever exchanges requirements. Reading between the lines from a message on the developer chat a couple of months back, this is due to be completed in November.
Once this is done, exchanges can integrate with Radix far more easily, meaning, once the API is announced, we are likely to see a slew of exchange listings.
Further hints at exchange listings come from the Ethereum wrapped version of the token, EXRD, getting listed on Coinbase custody, and one of the Radix team being spotted chatting to Binance execs at a conference in Lisbon.
Finally, a big barrier to exchange listing is trading volume. Supposedly, $6m daily is what's needed for binance. Radix has been creeping up in volume for months now, and the recent pump in price has put daily volume at over $40m for a week now.
Correct Market Cap Listing
Right now Radix is sitting on a respectable $4bn market cap. That puts the netw

Which existing projects that are currently on Ethereum that you want to see on radix with the Babylon release? What according to you would start the network effects and add value to the ecosystem?
My guess is we need projects that increase the TVL so stable coins such as USDT, lending protocols like Aave, Compound and maybe some yield farming projects.

DogeCube is in a seeding / accumulation phase: it is not yet listed, you can get DogeCube community token $DGC from huge airdrops to members of the DogeCube community for participation in weekend tasks (that take from 10 minutes up to as much time as you like to spend). There are already many DogeCube millionaires, and there are still quite a few events to come.
A roadmap is in the making and over time the project will mature into having some genuine utilities. The larger the community, the more utilities can be grown.

I'm not sure how I did this, but apparently used a Rdx seed phrase to recover a Metamask wallet by mistake. As I never used Rdx wallet and everything went fine, I bought some tokens on MM (bscchain). Now I am finally ready to stake some XRD and discovered they have the same seed phrase. Is this going to be a problem? Because it doesn't seem like I imported Radix wallet in Metamask. I am honestly lost..
