A list of puns related to "Pantsuit"
I'm a big fan of men in suits generally and I also really appreciate a woman in a good suit. However most suits for women I can find are very feminine pantsuits, that are worn open or very loose in the front and often come in bright colours. I would much prefer a traditional pin stripe suit and tie look though, with vests, double breasted coat, maybe a bow tie and most importantly a dress shirt with button down collar.
I've found a few resources like sumissura.com, hertuxedo.com or littleblacktux.com. But those are definitely not affordable off the shelf options and I was hard pressed to find anything like that. Especially shirts that don't show cleavage and have a collar that allows for a tie or bow tie are almost impossible to find. So I'm wondering, is it really that outlandish? I think a woman in a classic suit with a high collar and a tie looks super elegant and strong. Of course it's a very formal look that's not suitable for just any occasion, but still I'm wondering why it's not more commonly available. Do you think it looks too stern and uptight or is it an underappreciated look?
Of course I'd happily take any hints for available options but I mainly wanted to hear other opinions.
I am a small woman with a penchant for oversized jackets. I am trying to decide (a) if this blazer is too oversized or looks cute/fashionably oversized, AND (b) if the pantsuit works or not?
[redacted]
The first set of pics is the blazer with the matching trousers. (Yeah sorry my living room's a mess.) I'm worried that especially together, they might look baggy or costume-ish because of the print as well. Thoughts on this set? Does it seem malfitting, or unprofessional due to the print? Do I need to pair this blazer with solid pants instead? Does the print suit me or would you suggest I get it in a solid instead?
(BTW, the sleeves are rolled up for now -- but that's an easy tailor job. I don't think making it smaller overall would be an easy tailor job but I'm open to suggestions.)
Finally, for comparison in the last pic I'm just wearing it unbuttoned with leggings (in real life I'd wear it with skinny black trousers instead). Probably this look is easier to pull off. But I'd like to be able to wear it buttoned and dressier as well.
Thanks for feedback!
EDIT: Thanks so much for the feedback everyone! Appreciated π
I feel like she thinks itβs gonna be some kind of big F-U to her family, when in reality sheβll just look like a well dressed business woman. π€·π»ββοΈ Unless, of course she gets something like a rainbow pantsuit! π
Edit: to include link to 90βs shoulder pad fashion vibes that her ugly plaid blazer gives off! ππππ

I recently got a new job. As a woman, I've always worn a blouse and a pencil skirt and a blazer to work functions, but it has always been more business casual than professional. I can't be wearing a plain blouse and grey skirt when the men I will be working with will have matching suits with crisp button ups and ties. It is so hard trying to match them!
I think my first thing would be a good pantsuit. Any matching blazer and pants/skirts recommendations? Or nice blouses? Open to suggestions. Think professional law office, Wall Street, etc. I want to look like a professional business woman with clean cuts, and I feel like Aritzia might be a good midpoint between random pieces from the Bay or Macys, and a $2500 custom suit.
Trying to remember the name of an anime I used to watch from time to time on a Canadian network called teletoon in the early-mid 2000s. Usually was on late at night in the same block as Akira and other more mature animated content. The main character was female, wore a pantsuit (I think red?) and a matching hat. I can't remember too much else, but I do remember that it slapped, and I'd love to watch it again. It was not cybersix, and was not a mecha or gundam show. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Hey Everyone!
I"m looking for classic, professional pantsuits for work. I occasionally have to go to court for work, and would love a few quality pantsuits.
I have a "Le Suit" one I ordered from JC Penny online, which is adequate, but I hate the cheap polyester look and feel. I don't want to break the bank, but I'm willing to spend a couple hundred dollars on something flattering, in a quality fabric.
There isn't any good shopping where I live, so I'm mainly looking online.

I'm attempting to hunt down something as similar to this as possible: https://www.rococlothing.co.uk/girls-burgundy-tuxedo-cara/
We're attending a wedding and my 12 YO daughter wants to wear the above linked outfit (+ "annie" shirt), however the largest size they had in stock turned out to be too small. Burgundy, maroon, or wine preferred, but reddish will do. Gimme alternates here folks. It's fairly different from what else I've seen out there and honestly I don't even know what words to use to search for this style of clothing that don't immediately point back to that exact item in google.
I'm pretty far outside of my wheelhouse if you can probably tell from my user name. We're in the US, she's about a kids 14. The suit from Roco Clothing claimed to be a UK 14/US 20. There does exist an out-of-stock size 15 but the 14 looked an solid two sizes too small.
Hi any suggestions for places to get a womenβs pantsuit this Saturday in person? I need it by next Tuesday for an interview on Thursday. I made a sudden career interest/ academic major change and Iβm now in this situation.
Btw Iβm short with hips. Thanks for any help :)
