Iβm a 24 year old male, who is separating from the navy in a couple months, and have been offered a very well paying job in Paducah. That salary is beyond what I was expecting for when I get out, but the location is a bit of a question mark for me. I grew up mostly in CA and WA, and all I really know about Kentucky is the hillbilly/racist stereotypes stereotypes. I know that it canβt possibly be that everyone is like that, but some of the reviews Iβve read about the town online make me kind of uneasy about it. Iβm already very scared about moving to a whole new place by myself. And from what I read, being a non-religious, leaning left individual (though I mostly keep those things to myself) wonβt make being in this area much easier. I consider myself a pretty friendly person, open to meeting new people. So I guess my question basically is, is the culture of the town one that is accepting and friendly to people who come from different parts of the country?
Will be there tomorrow afternoon going to river boat that night what else paducah got to.do
