A list of puns related to "Packaging And Labeling"
I have about 6 different series of 30 new sealed booster packs. How do you ship something like this into Amazon FBA? Do I need to label each individual package? That would be close to 300 packages.
This will be my first Amazon FBA shipment and I have some other items that the forum and Youtube have given me guidance but this one I have no idea on.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
I was given two records for Christmas, very nice gifts - I love receiving music!
The music on the records aside, there are three horrible trends I'm noticing with modern LP's:
Not putting enough detail on the back of the sleeve or the label (no credits or anything on the sleeve, no tracklist on the label). I get it - 'minimalism' - but unfortunately I just think this is a wasted opportunity. Sleeve design has gone through a few trends that should've been left in the past, and ommitting practically all detail is one of them.
Not pressing both sides of the record. So one side is blank. All I can say is WHAT A WASTE. I barely forgave Johnny Winter for putting out a 2LP set with only 3 sides... but buying a single record and it's one sided? Record more music before releasing it!
Not marking '45rpm' ANYWHERE on a 12" LP. Seriously, would it kill you to tell the person who buys your record what speed it should play? If you put an LP on your turntable, it should always be 33 unless marked otherwise, especially if it looks like there are more than 3 tracks on one side.
Footnotes: Also look at card and paper stock from earlier pressings. Look at the way they are printed. Shiny laminated card stock with cheap printing devalues the object. Maybe don't put the budget towards coloured vinyl, and instead put a bit more towards the overall package.
Sorry for the rant! But I'd buy more new records if they didn't crap out on these things.
Edit: If you disagree - I'd love to know why
Edit 2: A lot of people seem to be ok with single LP's sold with one side blank. Reading my post, you'll see I'm just about ok with 2LP sets with 3 sides. I've been collecting records for a long time and I'm into playback - to try and make out like single sided single LP's are common is funny to me, because my post relates to a gift I was given, not a purchase I made. It's the only LP like it in my collection, and one of only 3 that I've seen, all pressed in the last 5 years. Honestly - if your argument in favour of this waste of a side reduces down to 'cramming music on an LP', I'm afraid you've fully misunderstood this post, but I'm glad there's a market for single sided LP's.
What are the requirements for labeling on candles? (ie: fire warnings... Made in... Etc...)
Thank you so much for your help!
If you think GMO products should be labeled as such, or if you support the common trend these days of companies getting their products verified as "non-GMO" then you are (whether intentionally or not) enabling companies and organizations to deliberately spread anti-scientific propaganda to the public, and you are allowing them to profit off of fear-mongering.
Why do I say this? Well first, the reason is because the overwhelming evidence supports the conclusion that our GM food products are just as safe as conventionally produced food products (and in many cases are actually better):
Hello Everyone,
Been married for 3 years, been together for 6 years, known her for 10 years. She recently was diagnosed with BPD. I have been victim to her verbal abuse since the beginning; thought i could help βchangeβ her for the better. Recently, she started seeing a therapist- i have joined in on 2 of the 6 sessions ( one we were in the middle of a fight).
After the first couple years of being verbally abused, i started developing βverbal self defenseβ tactics. First thing i do is set my own limits: what i will and wont tolerate. Second, i dont indulge on her negative comments and try to almost ignore them or guide her towards a more positive perspective. Lastly, i am the breadwinner and i believe i have gotten to where i am today by how i was raised and my mentality as a person- im sorta βthe law of attractionβ guy and that perspective, for me, has gotten me far.
Anyways, this last fight between her and i has lasted for the whole week. I am at the point of getting a lawyer for divorce. She spoke with her therapist and they both agree that i have βnarcissistic tendenciesβ and that i need to admit my role in all of this and that i βmay have some deep seeded issues within, from my upbringingβ.
Truth is, i dont have a history of ever having any problems in life, except for being hyper and just βhigh on lifeβ. Her, in contrast, has had lots of run-ins with the law, tumultuous relationships, alcohol abuse, etc etc.
Could i really be a narcissist or is it just my βself defenseβ that they perceive? Of anyone could point me in the direction of peer reviewed literature on the matter, i would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I'll try to keep this brief. I went to a dispensary ( ill drop the name if asked but im not trying to call anyone out unless this is deemed to be a problem) and bought a few grams of concentrate. I saw on the menu ( i can post a pic of the menu and the packaging when i get home from work) Purple punch live rosin from Cultivate (bought from a different dispensary) for $60 a gram. So i bought one and got home and noticed that on the package itself it is labeled as rosin not live rosin. I honestly wouldn't have bought it if i had seen it when I was there but i didnt look closely at the labels until I got home. That is not to say that its a low quality concentrate, its just that i bought it because it was LIVE rosin at a reasonable price.
So I guess my questions are:
Are they allowed to do that?
Is there any clear definition on what concentrates should be labeled as.
Has anyone else had a similar issue?
It doesnβt matter if the person looked for it. It doesnβt have to be found βaccidentallyβ to be cringe. You can actively look for cringe, and Iβm glad people do. Iβve never posted furry porn cringe, looked for it, or even encountered it in the wild, but I genuinely love it when people post it here, because itβs truly cringe as fuck to me.
Not everyone feels the same way, and I can understand that, but Iβve been called a furry and downvoted to hell for just commenting that furry porn is valid cringe.
If you think furry porn is cringe, youβre a furry, but if you actively defend furry porn, youβre not a furry? Haha what?! What kind of backwards logic is that?
What an actual closet furry would do is post about how furry porn is not cringe and then start calling everyone else a furry...
Iβm kind of a packaging design and branding design geek, and I love browsing sites like The Dieline, Packaging of the World and BevNet to see the different concepts that designers come up with for the alcohol industry. What are some of the best or most-memorable examples of unique, clever, unusual or just plain pretty packaging for alcohol that youβve come across?
Hello guys
I would like to start private labeling my store/products
1 - Putting logo on product : this is the obvious part
Now I am not sure how to handle the packaging part :
1 - Create a product package for each product & Let it be wrapped and shipped by the agent with the regular chinese post bubble wrap
2 - Create a product package for each product + Custom mailer/shipping box (different sizes as order size can vary) => Very cool but super expensive and time consuming
3 - Do not create custom product package but just custom shipping/mailer boxes
I am right now in analysis paralysis so any experience would be much appreciated
I dont get why everyone has to be lumped into a generation. Millennials, Boomers, Gen X etc.....One blames the other for all the wrongs of society, totally fuckin stupid imo.
I'm technically a "Boomer", (the last year of Boomer generation) didnt even know it until I looked it up last year when I got online and saw all the bitching back and forth. I pretty much have nothing in common with the Baby Boomer generation, so it does aggravate me when someone says "Ok Boomer". My children and nephews are millennials, they are fantastic people.
Do we have differing opinions on how the world is and should be? Sure we do. We are at different stages of our lives. My children havent lived through most of what I lived through yet. They're still young adults. We dont agree on everything, but we exchange ideas and opinions rationally. I would not expect my son to see and handle situations at 29 the same as I do at 54. I would hope he could learn from my experience and/or mistakes and see a way that works for him.
I dont see the younger people doing something different than I would do and say "Ok Millennial", but damn if I dont see "Ok Boomer" 5 to 10 times a day on Reddit alone. What a waste.
I think theres enough shit wrong in the world to share the blame along all generations.
I just dont get why everyone has to be dicks and put labels on each other. Get over yourself, live your life and stop blaming other people for your shit.
