Greetings, modder who made the Great Trade League here.
I've finally released my latest mod on steam. I do not want to make a massive wall of text about it again, so for more details check the steam page.
This mod add 2 type of societies. Holy Orders and Fighters Guilds. They have similar powers and missions, but Holy Orders are more religious obviously and their mission/rewards show it.
They can both hire strong commanders with special traits, train to become better warriors/knights, go on a special pilgrimage...
There is also a new duel engine, it even have sound effects! It is very expensive to rank up in a fighters guild normally. Instead. when pushing the button, you get to challenge a higher rank member and take his place.
It is compatible with HIP and CK2plus without any patches, and can be compatible with all overhauls like Game of Thrones, it only require to be a dependency of said mod. (a few alternate files are supplied for that purpose already)

So I never read a light novel before, but I loved the anime so much, that I consider to read the light novels, because the anime had only one season, which stopped so suddenly. A few questions:
- How much more content do the light novels contain compared to the anime?
- Did the anime make big changes to the story?
- Is the quality after the point where the anime stopped still great like it was before?
- Is the main focus still on Ikkis and Stellas romance?
- Is it even available in english?

Pros: felt more visceral than mordhau
Level was interesting, kind of a storm the gate, destroy catapults etc. I've always felt chiv had better levels than mordhau.
Little game additions like a special attack, sprinting lunge attack, you could be revived if you didn't get dismembered. Felt like there was a bit more of a toolkit for attacks
Cons: hotboxes felt janky af. We were playing on a LAN I'm assuming and there were times where my swings just didn't connect. Mordhau always feels very precise with dragging and whatnot, this felt loose. Connections felt good when they connected but the overall swinging animations need a lot of work. Not very responsive
I felt like it's missing the goofiness that makes mordhau and the original chiv great. Granted this is down to personal preference. Just felt a bit self serious
Overall I look forward to seeing how it develops. I love games like these so the more good options the better. I wish they could take the level design of chiv and merge it with the mechanics of mord

Raging Brachy: I like you. In fact, I prefer your fight to your much less impressive younger brother regular Brachydios. I really do. However, as much as I enjoy you, your drop rates are fucking abysmal, and some of the shit you end up pulling from time to time seriously makes me consider running a belt sander across my face.
I break your head, I give you like 23 concussions in a single run, I bring a plunderblade, I even do that one trick where you spawn into a hunt wearing full legiana armour and then switch out to whatever other set you want to use in order to get the increased reward chance. and yet here we are. hours later. still doing the same dance that we've done for however many times we've done it. so maybe, just fucking maybe, can you throw me a god damn bone here? oh, right. of course not. you're too fucking busy smearing your explosive mucous all over yourself and the ground to even consider maybe lying on the ground for longer than 5 seconds so that I can BEAT YOUR GOD DAMN HB PENCIL LOOKING ASS HORN OFF THE TOP OF YOUR ELONGATED DOORSTOP OF A HEAD.
And thats fine. I can deal with that. the desire sensor is nothing new to me. I sat through hours upon hours of Kushala hunts, Nergigante hunts, Lunastra hunts in base game. all for a gem. that I didn't get until I got the melding tickets next week. but here we are. I don't even have that fucking luxury this time.
When a Raging Brachydios starts dragging punches like a Chivalry veteren playing in a tournament after snorting 3 lines of crushed up fucking adderall, we might have a little bit of an issue here, and I'm starting to think that pouring boiling oil all over my cock and balls would be more pleasurable than farming for your fucking reactors.
I lied. Its a big issue. Fuck you raging you oversized sack of explosive gangrenous cum and broken dreams, I hope somebody shoves a cheese grater up your arse.
My Chiv name is/was BeautifulMountAiryLodge, and I played 2000+ hours of Chivalry. I successfully escaped from Coldfront on multiple occasions- that's how much I played. (Most people still don't know that if you go up the ramparts you'll push the spawns forward and have a fighting chance).
For two years, Chivalry was a consistent bright spot during a very lousy part of my life. I was depressed as hell and working the shittiest jobs imaginable to get by. But damn near every night I would log on to Chivalry for a few hours (or a lot of hours) and get to laugh and meme with some incredibly funny people- swinging maul overheads in unison like rhythmic gymnasts with the Muscles from Brussels; spamming crouch and "YES!" with 'Ok." as agathian javelineers; leading an all out assault to push out of the throne room as King on Stoneshill as time ticked down; or getting in a bitchy verbal slap fight with IRamOldPeople.
I just wanted to say thank you to the developers at TB for creating a game that brought me a lot of happiness. It's without a doubt my favorite game of all time, and I'm really stoked to hear Chiv 2 is on track. Chiv 1 combat was close to perfection- up there with the all time classics that did one thing perfectly, like the SNES Super Mario, Street Fighter, NBA Jam, etc. While good players learned to deal with Chiv's warts- ROH, extreme drags, instant lookdown overheads- it did make combat start to look silly and establish some less than fun metagaming that was a turnoff to new players I tried to introduce. I know you guys will clean that up in Chiv 2, and with a fresh coat of paint and maybe some more solid TO maps it will be hard for it not to be a 10/10 title (in the eyes of anyone with halfway decent taste and enough patience to deal with getting rekt for a while).
I don't have anything funny or cynical to say unfortunately. Just wanted to say thanks because I think a lot of this community can be sarcastic and a bit whiney... which is how most gamers communicate, unfortunately. You guys hear a ton of complaining and probably not nearly enough "thank you" and "your game is awesome and made my life better". I know a lot of other players here feel the same way but they are too cool and aloof and wearing leather jackets to say so.

Graf Spee was tasked with raiding Allied merchant ships in the South Atlantic. Langsdorff would often sneak up onto unsuspecting merchant ships, warn them not to send out distress signals, send out a prize crew to raid the supplies, take the merchant crew off the ship(sometimes taken prisoners), and then scuttle the ships, to avoid killing anyone while fulfilling his missions. Sometimes the ships would disobey and send out distress signals, but Langsdorff would spare them anyways. He treated his prisoners with respect and hospitality. In that fateful Battle of the River Plate, he had the opportunity to finish off the heavily crippled HMS Exeter, but chose not to, and focused on HMS Ajax and Achilles instead. After retreating to the neutral port in Uruguay, he was tricked into thinking that he was surrounded by arriving British forces, with no hope of escape or reinforcement. With the order that Graf Spee must not be fallen into enemy's hands, he was essentially left with two options: sail out, gun-blazing on British forces and go down in flames, or scuttle Graf Spee himself. He chose the latter to spare the lives of his men. Knowing that Hitler would be furious that Graf Spee is sunk, he paid the ultimate price by taking his own life.
It's good to know that there were good officers in both sides of the war, even in Nazi Germany.

... keep reading on reddit ➡I just finished watching chivalry of a a failed knight and I was surprised at how much I liked it. I'd seen that is was compared a lot to the asterisk war and since I had watched asterisk war first and somewhat enjoyed it I thought I'd give chivalry a watch and IMO it's a lot better than asterisk war. I'm a little surprised it never got a season 2 and asterisk did. What's everyone's opinion on the two shows? Considering Asterisk war got a second season and chivalry didn't I'm guessing that there are only a few who share my opinion.
