A list of puns related to "Nongame"
Is there any way to link a profile to a program that isn't a game? I've tried adding it manually but when I click the link it doesn't link the program. If I try any of the games that come up then it works fine. I wish this worked like the old synapse where I could literally just choose any exe to attach to a profile.
Setup- I was playing on a DND 5e oneshot based server as a level 11 Aasimar Moon Druid. I was the lowest level out of the party (PC's not being the same level but same tier is typical on the server). This is the Highest level character I have ever played outside of a battleroyal with my TOA group and this was my first game in this tier of play. The rest of the players are unimportant to this story, just know that there were 3 other players and the GM.
We begin with the quest or, rather, lack therof. We are set before this person called "Bowman" Because they use a bow. That is all the description we are given of our questgiver (Which is fair, I have done it before when I sometimes run games). They tell us that they "need us to convince someone to come speak with them." fair enough, What is their name? What do they look like? Why do you need to speak with them? What race are they? What is their personality like?Gm: They throw a crystal ball at your feet and you are teleported somewhere else.
That's it. We just know that we have to find someone to bring back and speak with them. Which actually turned out to be fairly easy given their description of the world. "Their is nothing but void as far as you can see." Well, after some exploration we find out that the ground is a black dirt the same color as the rest of the space and that any spell cast is automatically counterspelled by this place at 9th level. For those of you who don't play 5e this means that basically you are wasting your time and spells to try and cast. Fine. We can beat people over their heads if need be. There is no one. Not a single soul. We also cant sleep, so me being decked out in mostly combat spells as a moon druid means that I cant do much. I wildshape into an earth elemental to dig into the ground. Cant.
Eventually we run into a 6 headed dragon that is something like quadruple gargantuan in size. It asks us what we are doing and we explain everything that we know. We begin talking to it and asking questions.
What are you doing here?Dragon: This is a prison.
how did you get here?
Dragon: I was imprisoned.
What is your name?
Dragon: I will tell you when I think you are worthy to hear it.
Is there anyone else here?
Dragon: No.
How long have you been here?
Dragon: I don't know.
On and on like this for about a half hour. Eventually we get bored and convince the dragon to come back with us. But we have no idea how to get back. So we are literally sitting in a black void with onl
... keep reading on reddit β‘I just overheard a Sox fan refer to me as a fucking idiot for having the audacity to walk the streets of Boston in my Mariners jersey while the Sox are playing the Blue Jays. Obviously he was just being a dick to look cool in front of his girlfriend, but it made me wonder what people think about wearing jerseys in a nongame context.
After playing plenty of Couch Coop games with my GF during the pandemic , I Asked her to rate some of them!
Background: I'm a Gamer and my GF is the opposite side of a Gamer, she never played a video game by herself so our Switch Sessions were new to her, we are both 23 years old.
If your Non Gamer Friend sounds like mine, keep on going you will find plenty of suggestions!
I Wont add reviews to the games but will emphasize some of their qualities.
Recently Samsung removed the options from game tuner to change Nongame resolution. The galaxy S7 always run games , and "full screen apps" (like Ghost In The Shell:The Movie Virtual Reality Diver) in 1920x1080 regardless what you selected in display settings. In before i can choose to watch Ghost In The Shell in 2560x1440, but because this is not a game, now i can't manage it resolution and only can watch in 1920x1080 which is horrible on GearVR. If anyone has an older version, and can make a backup of the apk, i really appreciate it to upload somewhere.
Iβm looking for a good laptop to play point and click games on. I donβt need a gamer computer because I only play point and click games. I want the battery life to be good. Any suggestions?
Hey there! This is my first time posting on this board but I have started streaming Dead by Daylight quite extensively on my twitch channel. One of my biggest supporters and wholesome trolls in my chat is my own mother, also known as TeddyBearMomma. Dead by Daylight has become her favorite game to watch me stream, so much so that she will actively seek out other streamers who are playing the game when I'm offline to watch. On Christmas she agreed to allow me to teach her how to play her favorite game on stream. She is not a gamer whatsoever, so even using the wasd keys on the keyboard to move proved to be a bit challenging to her! Overall I am very proud of how well she ended up doing and I figured it was too wholesome not to share.
I broke up the stream into VOD's for ease of viewing. I hope this can bring you all a bit of enjoyment. Small warning, my stream is 18+ due to colorful language so cursing is going to be present.
Here is her introduction and the survivor tutorial.

Here is the killer tutorial. She struggled a lot with this.

This is her playing bot matches, both as survivor and killer. Still learning!

Here is her playing with a good friend of mine and fellow streamer DeadHeadGal710.

Here is her final match, and honestly I'm very proud of her for how it ended!

Today we have mostly games, photogrammetry, and virtual desktop.
But I suspect the true value of VR is in other applications both professional and educational.
What kinds of experiences and applications would you be most interested in beyond pure entertainment?
There's an option on my income tax form to donate to the Nongame Wildlife Fund. Would this money actually go to something useful? Google isn't turning much up.
Hi! I recently got a Legion 5 without knowing that it was a gaming laptop. I know nothing about specs but I've been told that Ryzen 5 with 8gbRAM is the minimum specs for a decent laptop.
I only use my laptop for my online classes and some photo editing on the side. I've read that it's normal for a gaming laptop to have short battery life. But still, are there any way I can do to kinda lengthen my batt life? And pls give me some tips or anything bout how should i use my device :)) Thank youu!
My roommate is 60+ years old, and he has shown a good deal of interest in playing video games. He has played stuff in the past (Halo), but it was a long time ago and not for very long. He's not interested in more casual games, he wants to play games that I typically enjoy.
I was thinking Resident Evil 4 because it has a very simple control scheme (one analog stick to run and aim) and of course, it's easily one of the best games of all time. Would this be a good start, or should I go for something more modern? I would be sitting with him helping him get through any control or game issues he has.
Hi guys, since the quarantine we can't spend much time with my girlfriend and I'm trying to find a game that we both enjoy. She has played Sims and GTA before and she enjoyed them. She enjoys playing Bitlife and Choices (yeah, I know) on her phone. We tried playing Minecraft but she find it boring so we quit. We're on different platforms, I own an Android and a PC, she owns an iPhone and an older version of Macbook. I'm open to any suggestions.
i have convinced my girlfriend to play games with me. im a fan of shooters and souls-likes, rouge-likes... and i know the games i play are not very welcoming for a non-gamer. What is ur opinion for an online coop that is enjoyable for her and not boring for me?
To clarify I do watch the Super Bowl (mostly for ads) and I can play Mario Kart but I like to focus more on the world outside. Most of my days are spent with my awesome young kids and wife. Iβm looking to expand my mind by talking to other people, mostly in the evenings.
Letβs talk about movies, relationships, walking, space travel, the future or what is on our mind. Love to drive around to relax; windows down, sunroof open, 85 degrees and sunny or clear sky in the country.
Looking forward to talking to you!
Pretty much what the title says. I've got a decently-powered laptop but it still struggles to run things like DaVinci Resolve. I've never used Stadia so I'm not sure how well it works anyways but I was just wondering if there was a similar service that offered to do the computing for you and send you back the frames?
I can't remember the last time I bought a new video game when it first came out, but I'm a big Marvel fan from way back and my favorite game is Marvel Ultimate Alliance. So I want to get this new game when it comes out. But there are basic facts that I don't know. Will my computer be able to run this game without any problems? Here are the stats for my desktop.
Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 TI 6G, 500G SSD, 8GB DDR4, RGB, AC WiFi, Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Sorry that came out so big, that's the size I copied it at I guess. Also, I see that PC players often like to use a keyboard and a mouse, but I want to sit back in my couch with a Bluetooth controller. Am I going to be at a disadvantage if I do that? And my third and last question for now is about my TV, my gaming computer is hooked up to my TV in the living room. Will this game look a lot better if I were to get a 4K TV to replace my 1080p TV? Thank you to anybody who can help me out with some of these answers.
