A list of puns related to "Nikolai Bukharin"
To make this happen, let's imagine Stalin dies in 1927 for whatever reason. Instead of Trotsky, Nikolai Bukharin takes power and tries to implement the New Economic Policy. What occurs and how does WWII play out?
This event implies he's still alive.

Would it be possible in TNO2 for Russian unifiers to discover him? I think as Komi, his daughter can unite Russia, why would he not try to meet her in that case?

Hey , I've been really interested in communism in the past few months and I want to learn more about it.
So I would appreciate it if someone explained Nikolai Bukharin' s economic theory to me and how it differed from Stalins.
Thanks.
>In February 1936, shortly before the purge started in earnest, Bukharin was sent to Paris by Stalin to negotiate the purchase of Marx and Engels archives, held by the German Social Democratic Party (SPD) before its dissolution by Hitler. He was joined by his young wife Anna Larina, which therefore opened the possibility of exile, but he decided against it saying that he could not live outside the Soviet Union. --From Wikipedia
Bukharin, despite his fall from Stalin's graces, was still in high regard with the Bolsheviks and ideologists of the Soviet Union and other international communist groups. If he survived the purges, do you think he could have returned to Moscow after Stalin's death, and become again an influential member of the Party?
Could he have seized power as Stalin's successor? Would he have plotted against Stalin?
In the power struggle after the death of Lenin, two major factions emerged: the Left Opposition and the Right Opposition. After Kamenev and Zinoviev defected from the RO to join the LO, Bukharing became Stalin's strongest ally. From 1926 until 1928, Bukharin could be considered to Stalin what Trotsky was to Lenin early on- the right hand man. A falling out after this period saw Bukharin eventually tried and executed in one of the more prominent show trials during the purge.
What happens if the man who pioneered "Socialism in One Country", but who opposed to forced collectivization and the rapid industrialization of Stalin's policies, came into power during that 1926 to 1928 period? What if Stalin is taken out of the picture, but after Trotsky and the LO has fallen from power? How is the policy of the USSR different, and more interestingly, what does the Winter War and WWII look like with Bukharin at the reins?
