A list of puns related to "Nicorette"
Cold turkey since before New Years but getting mad cravings. Thinking about getting some nicorette to help with that. Quitting because it just makes me feel like shit all the time, and Iβm worried that I might get too into nicorette and it be the same. What are your experiences?
Iβve used the gum (and continue to use it) when I donβt have my relx with me but nicotine is one thing, oral fixation is another.
Thatβs why Iβm considering the inhalator and Iβm wondering if anyone here or anyone can direct me to another sub where people have tried this.
I know that there are vapes out there where you can slowly but surely lower and lower the amount of nic in em.
Personally aside from the oral fixation I personally love a good throat hit, and funnily enough when I did try vaping pods with a lower concentration of nicotine, I think I stopped vaping as often because it just didnβt have that throat hit I like.
Maybe I shouldβve just tossed out my 5% pods and keep the 3% ones right?
Any other flavor than menthol mint is ass though IMO.
Even compared to tobacco 5% which I used to vape pretty often, I switched to the mint flavor 5% before ultimately tossing it out.
As of now I donβt want to quit consuming nicotine, I just wanted to quit my method of consumption of nicotine.
Turns out, the action of putting something in your mouth an inhaling it, seems to be more addicting than nicotine itself.
Hey folks, I haven't smoked in a few weeks now but got some nicorette for the urges. Now I'm finding myself having more nicorette than I was having when I first quit. Any tips?
Hi, I have been on keto a while with great results. Now i currently vape ALOT and want to switch to nicotine gum as im convinced that it has to be healthier than vaping constantly. Atleast my lungs will only be breathing air.
Now, i have searched the ingridients in the brand of gum that i want to switch to.
Acesulfame potassium, carnauba wax, D&C yellow #10 Al. lake, edible ink, flavor, gum base, hypromellose, magnesium oxide, menthol, peppermint oil, polysorbate 80, sodium carbonate, starch, sucralose, titanium dioxide, xylitol
This is the ingredient list. Is this okay to have on keto?
I quit smoking over 10 years ago. But I never quite 100% gave up the occasional Nicorette Lozenge or piece of gum. My doctor says they are basically harmless. But I have a feeling this may be contributing to my gastritis. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Iβve been cigarette free for almost two years now, due in no small part to the magic of Nicorettes Mini-Lozenges. But theyβre becoming very scarce, if not impossible to find (still trying :-)).
Does anyone know if the product has been discontinued or when it might be available again?
Not desperate yet, but...
I have one but it is old and chipped to hell and back. Looking for one in good condition. Also iso of the 2007 Dept. of Defense scheme in the same size
I make my own juice and have never had an issue with safely storing it and keeping my kids and pets away from it, but my dog is in intensive care right now because there was a pack of nicotine gum in my junk mail. How's the hell does that make any sense?
I recently applied for life insurance, and I said I don't use tobacco products in the phone interview (because I don't). However, I just found out that nicorette (which I occasionally use as a study aid) counts as tobacco. I was probably told this during the phone interview, but I'm not the best listener.
Well, I hadn't chewed any for 11 days prior to the life insurance exam, so I probably (?) happened to pass the test, though I'm in the waiting period for now to find out.
Should I call my agent and just tell her all this? I don't want to accidentally get blacklisted for "lying," but I also don't want to pay smokers rates as a non-smoker and very light nicotine user from the other sources.
In my local pharmacy they are priced 44β¬ x package (105 2mg gums)
Any on line pharmacy where I can find them cheaper?
Where can I buy them? Are they available here? I am in Nosara and will be traveling to San Jose on Saturday. Thank you!
Okay, I made that up.
But imagine if Nicorette's had come up with a new, non-chewable version of their gum, one which was made from, say, plant cellulose. And it came in many different flavors. And all you had to do was put it between your gums and your lip.
In other words, nicotine pouches.
Had nicotine pouches been introduced as a new Nicorette product -- one that was non-chewable! -- something tells me they would have been more readily acceptable.
I need someone to explain how or why this is happening. Our register just printed a Nicorette Manufacturer Coupon which gives $10 Walgreens Cash after purchase to customers.
How and why? When I saw the Coupon I thought it was a fake until our register printed out a second one. In my 4 years at Walgreens I have never seen a Manufacturer give Walgreens Cash. I've only seen Points/Cash given from Store Coupons.
As someone with PTSD, quitting ecigs has been one of the toughest challenges of my life. Nicotine has been one of those things that has kept me from going off the edge, but also the one struggle that has been keeping me from being the person I want to be. I used to be an athlete, I rowed and ran for my early college years, generally I was abstinent from alcohol and thought smoking was a fools gamble.
Never thought that I would be here. Been addicted to nicotine for nearly two years, and nearly became an alcoholic after I turned 21 if it wasn't for my partner's help.
For almost a year and a half, the longest quit from ecigs I had was a three month long one last summer, which fell through because of school stress and mental health.
I pulled the trigger on quitting randomly two weeks ago. I was losing sleep, I couldn't focus on my work without a smoke break, and generally I felt like shit. I talked with my therapist and she suggested I get some nicotine gum to help ease myself through a quit, if not just for a week. I decided to go buy some Nicorette gum from the CVS nearby.
My friend who's been vaping for nearly three years recently quit as well, though for him, he's been mostly smoking weed instead. We've been keeping tabs on each other, going for walks and texting each other to find support.
Since then, I've felt like this quit might be the one. I feel lighter...which is strange considering all the work I have for my last semester of college and working part-time. I feel committed to this one, taking my hygiene and mental health seriously, finding academic writing and studying that really interests me for change, even picking up some tennis at the nearby park.
I want this to be the one. I don't want to have to do this again, I don't know how long it will be before I try to quit again if this one fails. I am not using Zyn pouches or some other nicotine replacement.
TL;DR: I have PTSD and ecigs have been my coping mechanism for 2 years. Nicotine gum is helping me quit, but I'm still nervous as hell about a relapsing.
Any time I have a coffee craving I reach for my 1.3kg bag of individually wrapped dark chocolate squares from Costco. It really helps.
For a few years now Iβve chewed Nicotine gum- I actually use Kirkland but there are many others. NRT helped me quit smoking over 5 years ago. Best decision of my life after marrying my wife π
My question is: has anyone found anything about long term effects of nicotine gum? Iβve asked doctors, friends who are doctors, they have searched their medical journals, etc and it doesnβt seem there have been any studies on my question. Ultimately the point of NRT is to gradually reduce the gum use but since itβs kept me cigarette free for so long I just keep rolling with it.
Opinions please.. Of course I have the same old story as everyone when I started and when I quit..I would much rather chew nic gum all the while knowing I will never pick up a smoke again. I'm proud of myself for this. My question is can I have this choice? I know addiction to gum has occurred but I'm ok with this. I'm in a very stressful situation with my husband about this matter.
Still in the box, still has the plastic wrap on it. I'm allergic to cinnamon and I can't use this flavor. They won't take it back and they are sending me a new flavor.
If I can help someone else kick the habit, I figured why not?! These are quite expensive to buy in the store at like 40 bucks per 100 pieces so if you're trying to quit and having a hard time, I encourage you to hit me up!
Hey all, 83 days in and I'm hoping to start weaning off the lozenges. I'm wondering what other folks have used. I've tried Altoids and other hard candies but there is something about the lozenges. They have like a mild burning sensation that's nice, I'm not sure what it is. I'm wondering if anyone found something that emulates that sensation.
For you Nicorette users: Do you find the Gus and lozenges aggravate your gastritis?
