A list of puns related to "New Orleans Mardi Gras"
A friend loaned me this book when I was in school. I really loved reading it. I must have read it atleast 2-3 times before giving it back. Unfortunately, I have a poor memory when it comes to remembering book names.
I'm not able to find this book through Google search. Please help me.
Mardi Gras is supposed to be the celebration that happens before or after the Christian feasts of Epiphany.
It seems that nobody even knows this. Nobody knows about the feasts, nobody partakes in it or the sacredness of the celebration and the meaning behind it. Now it's become an excuse, an opportunity, to self-indulge in alcohol, all about beads, fancy festive gear and females showing their titties. It has absolutely nothing to do with what Mardi Gras was originally for and about. It just seems like an excuse to indulge, get drunk and act hoe-ish.
I'm not saying anything directly about New Orleans either as I like New Orleans and it's fun but that is the largest Mardi Gras festival I know of (honestly don't know any others).
Yeah I like to drink. No I'm not some super religious person. I just read about the meaning of it today. I just don't like the idea of something sacred becoming people's party opportunity. I wouldn't like that done to me in a situation where I'm celebrating something legitimate and meaningful.
Do you think Mardi Gras is a hypocritical thing? People either claiming a religion, but not following the codes (drinking, indulging and all that tossing your tits around stuff is considered immoral) or people just outright not caring it's a religious ceremony and just use it as an excuse? What do you think?
My mother(fully Vaxxed) two of my grown kids(fully vaxxed), my nieces and nephews school age(not vaxxed), same house all sick with congestion, fever, cough, sore throat. Allergy and cold symptoms first then got worse.
