I need help solving this problem. I know that NRV = Accounts receivable - Allowance for doubtful accounts so would I just take 600,000 - (22,000 + 5000 +8000)? I feel like there is way more to it considering I am terrible at accounting in uni so far.
Problem: On January 30, 2016, Jantz Company had accounts receivable of $600,000 and an allowance for doubtful accounts with a $22,000 credit balance.

M24 college student here. Since the pandemic started I got really interested in FIRE which led me to start keeping track of my net worth.
I calculated what's in my current- and savings accounts and some crypto investments vs. my college loan debt. However I also added in the value/price of my household possessions like TV, laptop, PC and other furniture (all valued at around 60% because of resale value).
Now with that value added I'm able to say that I have a positive net worth, without those possessions, I can't. I hope that what I wrote makes sense.
What are your thoughts on this?
I have enough time to play this game a little more than casually and that ends up severely restricting the content I can do, especially when you mix in skill and knowledge levels of path of exile.
Crafting for profit is something that has been unachievable for me in past leagues, with my current mix of game knowledge, currency, and time.
With the new garden mechanics I've been able to make a ton of money crafting mid tier, but usable gear. By being able to improve items by replacing that one really bad roll, I've been able to fund my own gear to push into higher level maps faster.
One of my biggest complaints was how bad it felt as a semi-casual player to make an item with two t2 resistances, a usable other mod, and then bricking on life/es and being left with nothing.
I found a 12 life, 2 t2 resistances stygian vise. I've been able to craft it into a very good late game belt for me.
Cheers GGG for making solid gear crafting acheivable for the people who aren't great and generating large amounts of currency or people that have extraordinary amounts of free time. Despite not really liking the garden as a whole, the crafting it brings is game changing for me.
1 week ago, I started my transfer from RH to Webull. I’ve left both apps alone since then because I figured it would take about a week. I just logged into Webull to check the progress, and my account says -$275 net account value. Then under it it says that I need to deposit the money by March 15th or liquidate 4x the amount. That’s when I realized that shortly before transferring, Robinhood reversed a $200 deposit that I made without my knowledge. I had no idea that this even happened and instantly deposited the only $250 I have to hopefully reverse this since it said to pay by today but it says it will take 4 days for the deposit to complete.
What does this mean for me? Will I be okay since my stock transfer hasn’t even completed yet? (I can’t see my shares) I’m very new to trading so I have no idea what any of this even means I just wanted to buy some stocks. I’m scared that they’re going to automatically sell my AMC shares or something

Hi all. Just wanted to share a tidbit I’ve come to realize over the past few years. My wife and I bought our first home several years ago (I’m 28 now). We only could put 5% down.
We went from apartment dwellers to homeowners very quickly, and over the past 4 years, I have learned to do all the work myself. The house was a real fixer upper.
I have remodeled our kitchen, bathroom, flooring, windows, and am about to do my own siding and roofing. All new landscaping.
That’s why they call it sweat equity!
The key is to do all the work yourself. I have done all this on a budget and have spent less than $12k on everything, but I estimate I probably have added over $30-40k of value to my home if I were to sell today. They key is doing it yourself.
Just wanted to share this for those who may not make a lot of money, but are handy and have skills, there are other ways to grow your net worth. I know it’s not livable cash, but for us, we will probably sell it when we FIRE and use the proceeds to live internationally in a low COL country. Every little bit helps, and increasing your home value is one way to do it.

Serious question... Is it still possible?
A little bit of my story for the record: I‘m 23yo, live in central europe, have roughly 30 trips to my tally and am thinking about dropping out of society.
One of my trips led to psychosis and HPPD. I can live with this, allthough it gives me a hard time once in a while..
After that fatal trip, I took a break from lsd for about 3 years and have now really been turned on about half a year ago. It feels like the person who did so, has just dropped me. And it felt like a soul connection until now + somehow my direct line to my soul people and a better future.
Also the school + internship I‘m currently in doesn‘t really interest me anymore.
I really wanna live a happy life without the struggles of day to day society.
Using Chemistry can we get to a similar version?
