Planning to go for a nasi lemak hunt soon!
Aside from the friends I made during my exchange semester in Singapore, the one thing I fell in love with more than anything else was nasi lemak. I took a cooking class to learn the basics, although it still doesn't come close to the best ones I had in SG obviously.
Now, to the point. I'm cooking nasi lemak for some friends next week, and all of them are either vegetarian or vegan. So I thought I'd check in with you to see, what do you usually have with your nasi lemak when chicken and ikan bilis are off the table?
So far, my go to has been the Lemongrass Tofu recipe from Vietvegan, but I'd love to try new things that are local-approved. Please introduce me to your favourite side dishes.

I remember buying one at a market in Surrey, but Surrey's too far away, so I'm wondering if anyone knows a market in Vancouver/Richmond/Burnaby that sells one. H-Marts and TNT unfortunately didn't have it.

there are 2 reasons why I got attacked
first reason is becouse im a jew and the nasi heard it somewhere
the second reason is becouse I had a popbob skin which made the nasi mad for some reason

Saya cek di youtube dan googling resepnya tiap orang beda2. Ada yang pake ketumbar, ada yang pake kencur, ada yang pake kemiri segala. Saya jadi curiga itu resep2nya sudah pada dimodifikasi pembuatnya.
